Visit on Saturday for the fireworks. Lovely fireworks display would recommend. And the entertainment was good. Toilet were dirty in all areas. Shame there wasn't more lighting around the paths for when it got dark, as some areas were really dark no lighting at all and people was walking into each other. Other than that we as a family really enjoyed the afternoon and evening. And will be returning next year with a torch
It was really good a few years back. i think £16 its original ticket price was a good price id pay maybe up to £25 but i think the prices now are extortionate for what it is and how little it changes years to year. Also if you have a sensitive nose or hate your hair being touched by 100 actors , you wont enjoy it .
Our visit was somewhat disappointing as more than four rides were not operational. They had already posted a printed notice at the ticket counter about this, so we felt that a discount was warranted. The indoor food venue served poorly prepared jacket potatoes, with cheese placed under the potatoes and only a little on top. There weren't enough beans either. We paid £3.25 for the potatoes, plus £1.55 for beans, and £1.56 for cheese plus 30p for mayo or tomato catchup. On a positive note, the kids enjoyed the rides that were available, and the waterpark was the highlight of the day. The park also offers free parking, and you can easily return to your car or bring in food later in the day by getting a hand stamp, allowing for multiple entries and exits. 1. A vertical spinning ride named "Excalibur" featuring colorful swings and a medieval theme, set against a clear blue sky. 2. A vibrant waterplay area with slides and climbing structures. Children are seen enjoying the water activities under a partly cloudy sky. 3. A small red train, reminiscent of classic steam locomotives, under a shaded shelter, ready to take passengers on a scenic ride. 4. The entrance to a ride called "Dragon Falls," styled with Asian architectural elements, with a queue of visitors waiting for their turn. The surroundings are decorated with dragon-themed art. Our visit captured various aspects of the park, showcasing its rides and attractions.
It's a great place to visit for the price. There's free parking, toilet facilities nearby and restaurants to eat as well separate cafes. The theme park caters for a younger audience not particularly older teens and adults. The older age range of thrill seekers are best suited elsewhere. The park was not heavily populated and queue times range from 30 - 60 mins on some rides it was 15 mins. There are not many rides as I liked but still plenty of fun to be had.
Went for the Xtreme Scream Park. Definitely was worth the hype. Overall a nice venue, some new mazes with good entertainment and reasonable queues. Don’t wear white trainers whatever you do Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
We loved this place. It made a nice change for the children to go somewhere different. Can be a little boring for the adults but for the children it's a great place including swimming on the outdoor area. Exceptionally clean environment. Really enjoyed it as a family.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Brilliant day. Kids loved it. Queues were not too bad. Good amount of rides. Water park was great fun. Not a lot to do at the water park for age 2, she had to just splash around at the bottom. Only complaint is the toilets were disgusting.
Such a great day out with the kids. It was overcast but the kids had a great time we managed to go on all the rides they wanted no issues. Recommend get there early though so you can do everything. Take time in the soft play areas in the dinning hall. Big area with lots to do for the kids. The water park is nice place to relax also - it was too cold on the day we went.
All the rides are average , the water park is average and the indoor play is average. However the fact that you have all this on the same ticket with minimal cues makes for a great day out for younger children. Good value for money and happy kids.
Years ago I used to take my son who hated rides using annual passes so I kinda took the park for granted. Today I took my 4yr old daughter and paid the online price, it was about £35 for the two of us. So so worth it. The queues, despite being the holidays, were not too long. What I liked is in some parks they have a winding queuing system so you think ‘ahhh, 10 mins’ and then an hr later you’ve got some toilet desperate child but you… are… committed! Haha Anyway, none of that as all the queues can be pretty much seen and a straight line. Plus, because there is so much to do with the indoor and outdoor play areas it wasn’t bad. People really need to be less grumpy to staff when stuff sells out tho’, these people are likely on minimum wage, it’s hot, they’re busy and they don’t need someone moaning at them about the lack of decaf coffee when there is some about 5 min’s walk away. So the staff are great. The parks are really good, we were there from 10:30am until 5pm also used the splash area, time allocated on booking and could have easily spent hours more there. Plus, if you do 6 of their rides on a card then you can return to Twin Lakes for £25 or Wheelgate for £20 in September. This is for 5 people. Absolute bargain and we will be using it :
