Well managed and spacious station because very next to Twickenham stadium which is famous for rugby. Lift available and staff is there but not sure if they help or not because never test them nAnyhow good station and good train service for Waterloo London.
I love twickenham for the rugby,the live music venue's The Exchange being one of them.nAlso a number of great pubs.nSurrounded by open spaces With on the thames eel pie island a great working boat yard with creative buildings.nThe Orleans gallery is worth a visit.nBut lastly, my own garden, The secret palm garden studio
Super busy on match days. The redesigned station has very attractive tower blocks and a spacious forecourt. Get out of the station, turn left, the High Street is just five minutes away with all the High Street names. Waitrose is just a minutes walk across the railway bridge. Church Street, another couple of minutes walk down the road, has more shopping and excellent eateries. Great for packing a picnic for an afternoon by the riverside which is nearby. Would love more bicycle racks on the forecourt, A large canopy on the forecourt for sheltering and waiting during inclement weather would also be nice.
A decent railway station with easy access to London Waterloo and Reading. The station really makes getting to Twickenham Stadium on a match day convenient when travelling from further afield. It is best to go early to avoid the crowds closer to kickoff and it is best to wait an hour after the full time whistle to let the initial rush die down.
Staff cannot explain properly about it.. My child forget their 5-10 zip on the way to club activity. They stopped us, saying it is not true that kids are travel for free and my child was late to the club activity. Luckily they released us after paying a full ticket. Also this was Saturday and with alot of guards because of the game and they stopped us like criminal saying my 10yrs old child is not free even we mentioned that we only forgot her Oyster and we are just travelling from teddington where we live and just take me to the counter and the guy give me the full ticket to pat, no receipt and they did not twll ua that we can even get a refund for it at the tfl station.
