I seldom find a restaurant that I would be happy to return the next day for another meal but seems I have now. From the informal and hospitable hosts owners to the pleasant surroundings, friendly service and fantastic food, this is a true gem of a place. We ate from the fixed Xmas menu which was still available and very reasonably priced and also had option of additional dishes of the day included. All dishes were fantastic and not one complaint or disapproving comment from any of my family. Good wines were recommended and chatted about with the owner. Desserts were also very good. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to visit again soon. Try it, Italian-Scottish contemporary food at its very best.
This is a great family Italian restaurant business. Second visit here, I was seeing family. I had the special steak linguine for main, pate to start, & ice cream to finish; three of us with a bottle of wine, and round of beers cost with tip £180. It’s not cheap even by Oxford prices, however every bite was good. Made fresh, cooked excellently and service very friendly. It keeps winning awards for a reason. Highly recommended
Dunno how we skipped this place every time we were out. Food is great, the place looks cozy but just fyi, it is a bit pricey, especially for Hamilton / Scotland.Recommended dishesTiramisu

Really lovely meal. Friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Lovely ambiance and welcoming. So many delicious choices . We have already booked a return visit. Definitely recommend
Lovely meal, friendly service and atmosphere. Would highly recommend. The only one criticism is there was no dairy free milk options for latte or coffees. I Suggest this be added to menu or available on request. Also a little chocolate or mini tablet with teas or coffees would add that special touch. Amazing!!!!!!!! We eat out just about every weekend and hands down this has been one of the best meals and service we have had in years. Warm welcome from the staff on arrival to departing Always made sure the wine was topped Up and yes they done this old school at it’s finest. We will be booking here again in a few weeks time
Came to this place the day before my son's wedding. Group of 12. People from USA, France, UK, China, Spain... not that easy to please every taste and nevertheless it was a great success! This place is a bit of Italy in Scotland. Super friendly staff, food is out of this world, portions are very generous, all is sparkling clean and price is good. Ah, and you can park nearby. A must go.
We stumbled on 21 and what a find staff were excellent with my allergies. The lentil soup was one of the best I've had, steak was amazing. Christmas menu very good value for money.Food: 5/5
