Love Twenty! Best stock and really well priced. I think a lot of the reviews here reflect the customer and not the store. It sells expensive clothes and it’s about your attitude not theirs which for the record they have always been fantastic to me and everyone I’ve seen in store and I have been loads. Shout out to Lucy who is an absolute gem
For a beautiful place like Petworth this shop unfortunately lets it down, poor demeanour of staff, stalking sales style not the sales assistants fault on the positive beautiful pieces but the ‘energy’ or the atmosphere in the shop is utterly dreadful.
Visited this shop yesterday with my daughter whilst on a day trip to Petworth. Great shop with a fantastic line up of stock & brands. Unfortunately didn't purchase anything as was made to feel very unwelcome in the shop. Was followed around as if we are not good enough to step foot the place, very rude and unfriendly welcome. Could have and would have purchased a new coat and boots for winter but will seek to purchase online now. Big Mistake!
Really disappointed with the service I received recently. Despite lockdown restrictions being in place, I was refused a return/exchange/credit note on an item bought in store in late December just before the current lockdown because it did not comply with their returns policy of 14 days. Having phoned the store in January and having been reassured by one member of staff that I would be able to return the item when it was safe and in accordance with government guidelines to do so, apparently this is not the case and it is my fault the item has not been returned and I should have "made the effort to get the item back to them sooner" despite no advice on this at the time of purchase or calling. The member of staff I spoke to last week was so patronising and rude to me, it was the worst service I've ever received! She refused to even believe I had been given the information regarding the return in January and was simply horrid to deal with! It has simply left a bitter taste in my mouth and I won't ever visit the shop again. Having read the reviews, and speaking to some other friends, I am not the only one to have experienced this lady. Horrid experience.
I am reading the reviews wondering if we are all talking about the same place! Shopping can be an emotional and personal experience. I have received nothing but excellent service from all the staff. I have visited with friends who have commented on the level of service and product knowledge as being excellent. Dare I say even buying jeans at Twenty is a pleasure. I have two young boys and over the years have taken them on many a shopping trip, my youngest has a set of lego at the boutique that he asks after,,,, even though he is now 11! I wouldn't hesitate recommending Twenty to my friends, unless it is the first day of the sale and they are the same size as me :-
My experience of this establishment is one of extreme unhelpfulness! Having asked for assistance in the care of a very expensive cashmere item of clothing Purchased at a previous visit that was not wearing well. The sales assistant was patronising and repeatedly told me to purchase a cashmere comb despite the fact I had informed her several times I had one! The assistant was defensive and informed me I couldn’t exchange the item or have a refund with a receipt despite the fact I had made I clear I didn’t want either of these options, just help and advice on the care of cashmere. In the end I left the shop to,seek help elsewhere and will not be returning to purchase anything further nor will any of my friends. Word of mouth marketing is key, especially in a small town such as Petworth.
An amazing selection of clothes that are so beautifully presented and staff are always very helpful. A lovely, luxurious, shopping experience and a go to for some much needed retail therapy!

Rude staff!! Stuck up and on their high horse as they work in a shop that sells rather expensive clothes. No ‘hello’, no eye contact due to the fact it probably seemed as though I wasn’t going to buy anything as I was with my young child, when actually I would’ve and could’ve. You always find unfortunately the rudest of people are the ones trying to be something they’re not.
Extremely knowledgable and helpful staff, the boutique stocks super cool brands and is in the same league as some of the well known luxury stores in London. Definately worth a visit!
