One of those places we think about regularly now everyone is so restricted in their travels. As soon as it's safe, we'll be back to Grasmere with our Ridgeback in tow and enjoying the fabulous ale and gin in this amazing Lake District gem.
Always stop here for a pint and something to eat whilst in Grasmere. The selection of drinks is always good and the food is very good quality. Today I had the Stack and it was delicious. Lovely big beer garden if the weather is good and very good for social distancing. Staff are really friendly too.
Didn't stay here but had food and beer in the bar. Loads of cask ales to pick from. The food was very good and generous portions. Staff all very good and the place is well run during this pandemic. All the precautions are in place to keep staff and customers safe.
I visited here today with my boyfriend as its his birthday. We sat outside in the beer garden. The waiter little Daniel is an asset to your work team. He was very friendly, polite and worked hard taking orders and serving customers even though he did not like Liverpool
