What an amazing vets. I moved 10 miles away, but I cannot bring myself to change vets. I’ll do the journey every time. I trust all the staff. My dogs live the vets. They come and automatically sit on the scales and sometimes they even get treats. The service and health plan is highly recommended!!!
The vets was immaculate and you were greeted by a lovely fresh smell when entering. Alison on reception couldn't have been more helpful and clearly explained the pet plan we were taking out. She was very knowledgeable and put our minds at rest with our first fur baby. They were all brilliant and made sure our puppy was healthy. You didn't feel rushed and the customer service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.
Some new vets lack a bit of “vetside manners”. i’m giving 5* to Andy who sadly only now works there now and then. If all the vets were as dedicated and sympathetic as him , i would give this place 6 stars
I'm a reasonably new customer at Tweed House Vets Yeadon with my 7yr old cat. I registered my cat with them because the practice is closer to home than our previous vets. My cat gets very stressed in a travel carrier and I wanted to keep traveling time to a minimum. Three months ago my cat was due Droncit wormer and when I rang for a prescription I was told he had to be checked over by the nurse so I made an appointment. The nurse checked my cat over once I'd got him out of his carrier, he was not a happy chappy. Once the nurse had finished she and I put my cat back into his carrier, then the nurse told me to sit in the waiting room and off she marched to another room with my cat in his carrier. It turns out that she'd taken my cat to be checked over by a vet in order for him /her to authorise the prescription of Droncit and after some 15 mins the nurse returned with my cat, by now he was really stressed having been yanked from his carrier for a second time and the nurse mentioned how difficult he was to get out of the carrier! At last I was able to take my cat home. When we got in the house and I opened the carrier he ran and hid himself away for over one hour. So here we are 3 months later and he's due Droncit again and having received a text reminder I rang the practice to order a prescription. I was told I would need to bring my cat in to see the nurse which I thought was odd but made an appointment and duly subjected my cat to his worst dread the carrier! When the nurse checked him over yet again and returned him into his carrier she told me to take a seat in the waiting room while she takes my cat to the vet in another room. I asked why was this necessary as we'd been through all this 3 months ago. She then told me that the notes she'd made on the computer at our last visit had not been authorised on my cats records and therefore he must be seen by a vet. The vet was busy at this time in consultation so I waited and waited after more than ten minutes and with no indication how long we could be waiting I was concerned how long my poor cat was going to be stuck in his carrier so I told the nurse I'd had enough and wanted to take my cat home and that this was a problem she and the practice needed to sort out as it was their mistake by not correctly updating my cats records. The nurse then informed me that when my cat is due Droncit again in 3 months time I will have to bring him back to the practice as he must be seen by a vet to authorise a prescription...... I say you're joking if you think I'm putting my cat through all that stress again because of your incompetence thanks but NO THANKS.
Absolutely amazing, excellent vet. Very professional and knowledgeable and first of all very caring and truly loving the animals.

Absolutely first class from first consultation, surgery and followup conversations. Our little lad made it through. Thank you Scott and all at Tweed House, great team.
Very professional, extremely helpful - saw my poorly cat immediately
Great place, everyone is friendly and helpful. Even my dog enjoys coming here.
I always thought that this was a good vet until recently when my fur baby got sik and I brought him in to find out what was wrong with him, I paid a few hundred pounds for different tests yet was given no outcome or diagnosis, less than a fortnight later and my angel has sadly passed away which has left me completely heart broken and is something that I firmly believe could of been prevented with correct diagnosis and treatment which I feel neither was done. I would definitely NOT recommend bringing poorly pets here due to this experience.
