What a special moment it was when my husband opened his birthday gift! A simple photo taken on a mobile phone that was totally enhanced and transformed into a piece of art, with a frame! Not just any frame...a frame carefully selected using Toby and Colin's expert judgement and experience. Absolutely wonderful, thank you! Picture is proudly displayed in our family room.

Absolutely blown away from the quality of framing from Tweed Art. I had a portrait done of my two Labradoodles. One is very black and sharper looking and the other very golden and softer. It's on a black background with platinum writing. Not an easy background with two very different looking dogs. I took it into Tweed Art and and was guided by Toby's expertise. He understood my fear of how one dog couldn't take centre stage and talked me through my options so both dogs were done justice. It all came down to the perfect tone of mount and I loved the idea of the double mount to compliment the dogs. He had literally hundreds of frame options and showed me what suited my picture. I was also shown the different types of glass and could hardly believe the difference this could make. I left confident with my choice and looking forward to getting my picture back. I collected it today and was blown away. It's a statement piece. The frame, mount and glass do absolute justice to my two furbabies. I am beyond delighted. I sent a picture to the artist who did the dogs and she was also delighted. It's not a quick pop into the shop and be back out in five minutes. It's a much longer process and Tweed Arts don't feel not showing you all the options will do you or your picture any favours. Toby is a consummate professional who can draw out every last detail and colour out from your treasured drawing or painting. I couldn't recommend more. Top class. I wish I could put the picture on for you to see. I'm sure he will pop it on his webpage and you can see the quality of the colours of mount, glass and frame and also the mitring etc on the actual frame.

Stunning, that is the only way I can describe the framing Toby has just completed for me on a very large and special picture. The statement that the framing should enhance a picture could not be more true. The time and patience Toby spent in frame and mount selection and the use of True Colour Super Clear Glass have resulting in an art work that makes me smile everyday.

What an adventure it has been having my masterpiece by Ade Adesina framed by the lovely Toby at Tweed Art, one I am sure he won't forget. It is a whopping 2m x1.5m (yes metres!) and posed a slight challenge for mounting let alone framing and also getting into my house! I took this to Tweed Art and Toby could not have been more helpful! It is the biggest picture he has ever framed and what a spectacular job he has done. From initial consultation, choosing the frame, helping me get it on my wall (literally) and making sure it was perfectly hung, Toby has outdone himself. I will never go anywhere else to get framing done, I urge you not to either. Thank you Toby! :)

Tweed Art are fantastic picture framers. I took a rare print to them recently, to be framed for my partner's 40th birthday present. Toby and I talked through some options. Toby is very skilled at picking elements out of the picture and bringing the print to life, through framing. The mount and frame combination - in this case an inspired double frame solution made the print look amazing.
