Story

Hello... I'm Joanna, the face behind My Turquoise Queen I'm a self taught home maker using sterling silver, semi precious gemstones and freshwater pearls to make jewellery. I have recently added Harris Tweed to my jewellery and obviously have a thing about turquoise.

The name for the page came about on our honeymoon in Marrakech when I was trying on yet another turquoise bracelet. My new husband called me "My turquoise queen" and suggested that I started making my own jewellery...

This is the BEST city centre kebab place going. I've been going for years and the chicken kebabs are something else  Great gluten free option without the pita bread.  Delicious.

Great takeaway food at a decent price. Cooked fresh and quickly and served with courtesy. I recommend the pizzas in particular.
