Love this shop in Woolwich. It has a great selection of good quality regional food from the Balkans and Middle East. I found a lot products that were my staples back home, their selection of ajvar is better than back home . They also offer a great variety of fruit and vegetables which are not prepacked so you can take the amount you need without the unneccessary plastic wrapping. There are also a bakery and a butcher. Also important - shop is well stocked and tidy. Will definitely be coming back here!
BEWARE, Fellow muslims they are selling non halal meat! As HALAL! They have a massive sign and all the certifications to say they are selling halal meat… But unfortunately lying to unsuspecting customers! HARAM. Liars in ramadan, how low can you get. I was sold their most expensive cut tomahawk steak as halal as clearly advertised in their cabinet. Got a refund but no apology. They said i should ask , when they have all signs, and advertising to say it is but it is NOT! I will make the council and trading standards aware, and The authorising bodies! Shameless staff. adam is rude, and arrogant. They make me ashamed of being turkish!! Where are their morals? AVOID AVOID. I will never return. Disgrace to TURKISH FOOD CENTRE BRAND. This needs to be investigated.I am ashamed my fellow turkish people do ANYTHING TO SCAM MONEY!
Well maintained and neat grocery shop. Prices are also affordable. Quality of products are well too.
Been to the store a few times, purchased mostly dried goods such as bulgar wheat and semolina etc. On my way home and wanted some hummus and bread so I stopped and purchased these items. I was shocked to see how much mould had grew on the bread overnight, way before the expiry date/ best before date printed on the label. The hummus was disgusting both tubs went into the bin. I’m disappointed and doubtful I’ll return.
Great food. Really like the variety of food. Great bakery with fresh bread and Baklava. Lots of food for vegetarians and vegans. Only con is that the shop is expensive. If they were cheaper I would buy there more often.
Brilliant Turkish market and newest branch so far, super clean and very well stocked. Parking behind the building also. Very good butcher at the back, friendly staff, store is very well looked after. Good management here. Highly recommend!
Lovely shop with daily fresh fruit and vegetables, Butcher section has a wide range of helal meats. I would definitely recommend!!
The best store in Woolwich where you can find absolutely everything. Staff find a special approach to each customer.And the nice manager will help you without any problems. Nice and clean place.
It's an unfortunate fact that you cannot block, delete comments, of an upset customer on Google. Had you been willing to talk to me and apologise, instead of ignoring me and blocking me on your Facebook page. Then I wouldn't have to be leaving a Google review would I? You sold me rotten fruit mangosteen and had security hovering over me whilst I browsed the fruit section. As if I was about to run off with a kiwi or something. It was genuinely insulting, but further insulting to open the fruit the next day to find it black with mould. You could have solved this with an apology, instead you chose to not offer decent customer service. Such a shame. - in response to your response. I did not post ALL OVER YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE. I made one comment on ONE post. It is not a fault that you deleted the comment, please don't insult my intelligence on how technology works. If you cannot manage customer service correctly that is your fault. You did block me. Twice in fact for both accounts I hold. I do not appreciate being patronised and gaslit. It still only took a simple and honest apology but you apparently still find that too hard to do, as your condescending reply shows, not to mention lying about my character, claiming I made multiple comments. Don't worry I won't be returning as a customer, neither will my friends/family. Because you simply are clearly not "friendly"
Meat smells, gone off, bought some yoghurt another day also gone off was green on top, such a shame as it’s a lovely place with many things but don’t sell gone off stuff check your stock and look after customers as I won’t go going back now I’ve had these horrible experiences
