Visited for an evening meal, so this review is for the restaurant only. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was reasonably portioned and enjoyable, albeit slightly pricey. The restaurant decor is fitting with the name well, and the big outdoor screen is nice to have
Cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Ambience was excellent. Staff so friendly and efficient. Food and service amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Staff fantastic, particular thanks to Carol and Rachael. Easy check in and out. Food good, tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is split in to 2 buildings with an outside annex, the hotel has had a fairly recent renovation, which looking at our room which was spotless and main public areas, I thought was spot on. Only down side is numerous stairs but no lift. Right on the High Street with free parking at the rear, the Tudor House is ideally suited for shopping, and it's location is perfect as a base to explore some of the Coswolds and beyond. Will stay here again. Thanks to all.
We booked this very last minute after a long car journey and were very pleasantly surprised! Staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They dug out the final bottle of my mums favourite wine which was a huge plus! Very comfortable and clean room, great central location. Food was okay but acceptable and the service more than made up for it. Highly recommend!
Wowww the food quality has plummeted in this place. 2 years ago, this was our favourite place to eat and would have to order separate portions of chips to avoid squabbling over them.nnNeither of us finished our meals and £8 for an egg mayonnaise sandwich which essentially came in sliced bread...like out of a packet sliced bread!? With barely an egg in there and mostly mayonnaise? Think we'll be going elsewhere in future!nnShame as the staff are really lovely!
