The activities are good value of money include swimming lesson , football and etc. but the cleanness and hygiene are quite bad. Lack of cleaning every where. Lot of people have outside shoes when they are in the pool area or changing area. No staff doing anything to stop , you know why? Even staff themselves wearing outside shoes in the same area. What a joke. Really poor management. Maybe they only busy with calling people to buy membership but no one, really on one care about the facilities
I had a very enjoyable swim at Tudor Grange leisure centre in Solhull booking through my everyone active membership. The booking process at the desk was straight forward . I like the update to the showers poolside and the lane swimming was comfortable as not over crowded . I would recommend this leisure activity to keep healthy and active in your retirement
Wonderful pool, very family friendly. Cleanliness was up to scratch in all areas that I visited. However, there was a very long wait to speak to someone at reception, as it was left unmanned.. The lifeguard I spoke to, Isaac, was very friendly and gave clear instructions about how the new locker system works!
The leisure centre itself is okay, although staff attitude varies greatly, and good luck getting through to them on the phone. Main issue is the car park. The ticket machines almost never work properly, so watch out for this. One of the machines puts the wrong time on your ticket, so your "free" three hours shows as zero hours.
Both my daughters attend swimming lessons here and they are great! Special shout out to Katy who is the absolute BEST swim teacher! She strikes the right balance between being firm with the younger ones so they don't mess around but extremely nurturing to those who need extra support. Katy gives equal attention and encouragement to all her students too. Tudor Grange is only let down by the smell of urine in the changing rooms!
Visted today Saturday as my son had booked a badminton court. Greeted by a miserable staff member on reception who told me that he had an issue and there were bouncy castles all over the court that he might not be able to clear because he had a bad back and the manager had unhelpfully deserted the place. Went to the cafe to get a drink to buy some time, we waited for another customer to be served takeaway coffees and at 3.45 were told we couldn’t have a takeaway smoothie because the server had to ‘clean up’ before closing. We asked what time the cafe closed she told us 3.30. On the website the cafe closes at 4. Surely it should be serving until then? Had been thinking of joining but the service today had completely out me off. Not sure why lifeguards are walking poolside in big black trainers-surely flip flops are more appropriate? Badminton court dirty and smelly when we did get in there.
Worst customer service - thanks to Everyone Active. Though the center is maintained at an acceptable level, the staff does not have a clue on how Everyone Active charges and will come up with their own vague, irresponsible, demeaning answers. When you raise a online query-please be ready for not receiving any response. If you wish to cancel membership, be ready to pay a months fee extra as your membership will be removed in advance, though they debit your account for an extra month and staff is clueless. Everyone Active - is a clear no no - worst direct service and online response as well.
I've been a TG gym member for over 20 years and always found the staff extremely friendly and helpful which was so apparent when I had a medical incident in the gym last week. Without doubt the urgent, first class attention I received initially from Ali Seal Training then Charlie, the gym manager, and Kai prevented my problem from being significant. Their care and concern was exemplary all the time until I was able to go home, I'm sure they went above and beyond what they needed to do. Charlie and Kai are a credit to Tudor Grange Leisure and Everyone Active, thank you for all your help.
You charge £65 per hour for Astro turf pitch hire and have strict instructions about wearing the current footwear etc to preserve the pitch but then there are kids on there whizzing around freely on electric scooters and mountain bikes just generally dossing about on there when we turn up - how can you justify this?
I wanted to express my gratitude to the 2 lifeguards who assisted me when my perscription goggles broke today 10.15am 14.6.24. I have visual impairments and struggle to see anything without strong glasses, so my perscription goggles are essential when I go swimming. They managed to fix them for me and were so helpful and considerate. I really appreciated it.
