Traditional tearoom / cafe. Food is good and the cakes are amazing. It's quite small, so not a lot of tables. Can you sit outside in the summer. Kid-friendliness: Had toys and books for young kids
Visited back in September, so the review is about 2 months late. Came in for a coffee as I was passing through Strathaven. The outside of the house is very eye catching with a mock Tudor design. The interior is much more modern, like a traditional tea room. As for the latte. It wasn't hot enough and it took a few minutes to drink, which is fast for me. The coffee tasted fine, just nowhere near hot like it should be. Unfortunately I'd already went back to my car before I realised the coffee wasn't hot enough and in fairness, the cafe didn't have a chance to correct the problem.
Nice quiet traditional coffee shop / cafe. Well done food at a resonance price. Limited seating and can at certain tines be busy. Always a takeaway option. Great cakes and even better service. Parking in the square.Food: 4/5
Just to say thank you so much for ma wee mum n dad's valentine lunch which you very kindly provided it was so lovely and ma wee mum who has advanced alzheimer's thoroughly enjoyed it and ma wee dad who's 83 was delighted with it so thanks again from all the family your kindness was truly appreciated
The Tudor Coffee House has in my opinion been the best tea room in Strathaven for the last couple of years. The staff are always helpful and willing to give you the best of attention. The food is excellent and great value for money, with particular reference to the range of cakes and biscuits, which according to the staff are calorie free. If you are visiting or just passing Strathaven the Tudor is well worth visiting. The Tudor has just been awarded best small business in Strathaven and it's up for another award what more can you say about this small coffee house it's still the best in Strathaven
Best baked potato I've had for a long time! Tasty treats way too tempting. Lovely staff who make you feel very welcome. I'll return, a lot!!

Excellent service wonderful coffee and cakes thank you we will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: Well equipped for children, had plenty little books and pens to amuse the children. Also Dog friendly which is an excellent asset to us . Thank you
The floorspace in the place is neat, it's cosy... ok it's small but we were made to feel very welcome by the staff and the menu is surprisingly extensive. The seating area was diligently kept very clean. Everything we had was well presented and tasty plus there was one of the widest and most beautiful arrays of cakes on offer that I have seen including those from well known bakery chains. I challenge anyone to go in and not find something they want. I absolutely would go back again.
A lovely cafe, pleasant staff coping well when busy. Wheelchair accessibility: Not much room to move around. Toilet down stairs.
