Story

We are a family business and have been running The Tuck Inn in Edzell since January 1989. Our full time staff have all been here for over 10 years, and some for over 20 years.

Our aim has always been to provide traditional home cooking and value for money. Our 28 seat restaurant offers meals, snacks, home baking, teas and coffees.

In addition to our sit-in restaurant, we have a chip shop range and offer a wide selection of traditional chip shop fare for take away.

We have provided soft whippy ice cream for many years, and also have a selection of Rizza's of Huntly flavoured ice cream, and their award winning Gold Top ice cream.

Ice cream and coffee to take away only. Due CV-19 there is a reduced service here at present. Clean and careful. Staff helpful. Prices fair.
Excellent food service was excellent.
You just have to eat here. Yes it closes early, small town, but the food is to die for. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and a very generous portion size. Seriously, give your taste buds a treat and you will be glad you stopped by to tuck inn.

Food was great, good size portions, and made welcome with 2 small children
Take away fish and chips were excellent. The haddock was so fresh and cooked to order.
