Amazing food, service and setting. Had a really relaxing afternoon with my mother first Turkish meal at 80+ in the open air section of the restaurant near the garden. The big windows were pulled back at the front too given the nice weather. Lovely comfortable space, really friendly and caring staff, great vibe and a definitely a happy place! The food was fantastic, everything so fresh, very well presented, succulent, and amazingly tasty. We will definitely both be back, many times!
Good experience overall but the atmosphere was definitely disappointing. Was surrounded by lots of noisy tables where we felt like we had to shout just to talk to each other Service was good, staff were friendly but service with food was slightly strange We ordered starters and mains and drinks, and expected them not to serve our mains until our starters were done. However this was not the case, our starters came and 5 mins later so did the mains, usually I wouldn't complain but the table size is miniscule for so many plates and dishes so felt quite uncomfortable eating as we worried about dropping plates etc. And there's barely any space between each table so worried people would bash into them too However, the complimentary bread with olive tapenade with a nice touch, completely unexpected Food was really good, very flavourful, cooked and Grilled nicely! Ordered the lamb ribs and mixed adana kebab with rice. 10/10 would recommend. Slightly pricey but overall was happy Also ordered the calamari and sausage starter, they were okay Note they put on some belly dancing shows, we only knew when we walked past the restaurant later that night, sad we didn't know about it, its not advertised anywhere .... There's a smoking/non smoking option for tables, smoking option is situated in a lovely area decorated with very pretty lanterns, however nonsmoking area decor was underwhelming by comparison
Overall really pleased we came here. It was a Thursday evening, quiet so didnt need to book. There's an outdoor seating area too, with options to smoke shisha, drink and eat. Lamb shish was beautifully tender and nicely marinated. The rice which came with the mains were a tad small so we had to order another to share. Had to go up to pay the bill as they were taking a while to come back to us to collect payment but otherwise the service was pretty good!
Bit of bother as they are a cash only establishment been 3 or 4 times and had to pay cash but the food is amazing! We had the chicken platter and sharer platter which fed 10 of us easily. Beers were cold and crisp too Highly recommended. Just make sure you go cash point 1st!

Highly recommended food portions are good the food was very flavourly the staff here were very smart and polite. And it didn't even break my pocket.
appreciate the likes and follows, thank you for reading I used to come to Tuck In many many years ago before it was refurbished with an attractive make-over. The restaurant itself has a decent seating capacity both indoors and outdoors and can easily accommodate large groups of people - though I'd assume booking is required. They serve shisha which compared to other places is heavily over priced. If it's shisha you're after, then there are other establishments. Because Northampton doesnt have many high-end restaurants as of 2022, Tuck In does very well to stand out, and thus is able to charge higher prices. I suspect this will change in the future as their prices are similar to London prices, without the same quality or ground rent. That said, you won't be disappointed if you visit.

For such a large restaurant so well visited in Northampton to not accept card payments? Also, the food was good, but the waiter did not offer any recommendations when we ended up ordering two rather similar chicken dishes! Take a look at the photos and decide. One of them was cooked in a tomato sauce; the other head yoghurt over it. The chicken tasted exactly the same. Quite good decor and lots of diners. Toilet wasn't very clean, though.
