Fast and friendly service. Was a bit on the pricey side but the scones were delightful. Worth while for a cheeky treat.
Excellent tearooms. Massive servings of delicious food in a really nice setting. Friendly staff too. Be careful of the single lane bridge approach though, there's no dedicated footpath. Great areas along the river to walk off your food.
A tea house in a 15th century building? Of course! Like in a fairy tale by the brothers Grimm. It's worth a visit but you may need a lot of money if you want to eat here.
Great tea rooms selling soup, sandwiches, cake & afternoon tea, all excellent & generous portions. Quaint interior, & covered outside area, & with it's own car park, & nice Riverside location. With the Covid 19 restrictions, you're best booking in advance as it gets very busy. Well worth a visit.
A lovely quaint setting but I felt the teas and welsh cakes were overpriced. The Welsh cakes were good though, flavourful and warm. Note that they serve whipped cream with scones rather than clotted cream. Tea made with real tea leaves. Tea and cake for two is around £11-13
Lovely cafe/tea room on the edge of Snowdonia. Bara Brith and Welsh rarebit are my favourites!
Very friendly staff, clean and a lot of history. The Tea and Scones are amazing.
The best rarebit I have ever had. And it’s a beautiful place!
