excellent spot to stay for the TT, good views of the track, and 5 min walk from two other great viewing spots. also 5min drive to the ferry. clean showers and toilets, reasonable priced food and drink, helpful staff. couldn't have expected anything more to be honest :
Good camp site for the TT. But no way in or out when the racing or practice is on. Could do with more mens toilets and the addition of stepping stones under quarter bridge to allow foot access to the camping field. This year there was a burger van and a pizza van plus the indoor seated cafe. Also a bar obviously. There was also a marquee with chairs and tables with a TV showing race footage. Used this site many times as it's as good as it gets for the TT.
Camped here again after visiting for the 2018 TT. After covid we booked for 2022 TT. What a proper organised group of people who run it. They couldn’t do enough for us. The facilities are spot on. Food from six am till late. Hot showers all day and night great club house and marquee with tvs. Charging points for ya phones. We stayed in the pre erected tents and they were brilliant. Plenary of room in them. All the people who put up there own tents also had loads of room. I can’t rate this place highly enough. From day one through to day seven nothing was to much trouble. A big thanks to all staff keep doin what ya doin. See ya next year
Great location. I came here with intentsgp. The only bad thing was the the cleanliness of the toilets. this is excusable because of the number of people.
I would give it zero stars if it were possible. Absolutely awful experience. Small tent, only 5 showers working for 100 tents … and don’t even get me started on the toilets.
Plenty of room but the outside toilets and showers all need replacing as they really aren't up to standard, the indoor ones are good but they definitely need more facilities when the TT is on. Food and coffee is good as are the staff and the phone charger station is a wonderful idea too.
Great location, good facilities on site, toilets, showers, parking. Freshly cooked food at competitive prices produced by a very hardworking team. Really enjoyed our stay in the pre-erected two-man tent, plenty of room in bedroom, outer area had a table + two chairs supplied. Will definitely stay again.
If you are looking for affordable camping/motor home. You must go here. Super club house. Plenty if toilets and hot clean showers. The canteen is open for the most delicious breakfast and i think the do meals too. It's a stone throw to the quarterbridge point on the TT friendly staff great bar and plenty of snacks. A children's climbing area and we were lucky as they were playing rugby too on one of the days. Will definitely go again
Thought this would be a great campsite for the TT TOTALLY WRONG the breakfast was on a paper plate with plastic knife and fork all the tables were full with people with a cup of tea £1.50a cup. It cost almost £10. The last time I went camping at the TT went to silly moos in Ramsey free tea and coffee all day and night free meal your first day great atmosphere all the time will deffo be going there next year. Well worth the extra ride to Ramsey. Still on the TT course win win
Great base for the T.T. races. This camp site is based at the Rugby club. There are plenty of pitches available and enough toilets and showers to handle the huge influx of visitors. The reception shed has loads of charger points for mobile devices and help is always on hand from the volunteer staff.
