Being away from home for close to 1 month, this bowl of noodles was as close as you can get in Singapore. Yummy! The prawn wanton was fresh. The soup was tasty without a hint of MSG. I particularly loved the egg noodles, it was perfectly cooked with the springy feel to it. The service, though nothing to shout out, was just what you would expect. Order, collect money and delivery of the product with minimum conversation. Would I go back to Tse Noodles? Definitely, in fact, this was the second time that I visited this restaurant. For your information, generally each bowl of noodles would set you back by £10.
One of the best Chinese food I ever had! I went with my boyfriend who lives in China and I let him choose the dishes and they looked amazing and both the soup and his pork seasoning were absolutely mindblowing! Amazing taste for good prices, right in the centre of Oxford. I'd go back just to eat at Tse Noodle again! I'll always remember it!
This restaurant accept cash only so I recommend you to bring cash. I ordered prawn wonton noodle and pork xiao long bao. The soup is good recommend but the taste of prawn has a small room of improvement. -Xiao long bao is so dried and thick. I will not recommend that. Another improvement is their service. No waiting staff control and operate the queue.
If you really wanna try a real Asian taste, please do not miss here. Delicious noodles and tasty sides, the chief is super passion and confident in his dishes. Strongly recommended!
Very cute and tasty. Had duck, prawn fried rice, dumplings and jasmine tea. Food is served as it is made. Looking forward to going back to try more. Generally busy but if you don’t mind waiting it’s worth it, we went around 1.45 and the 1pm lunch crowd were finishing up so not a long wait. Prices not cheap but good for this level of food. Cash only, there’s an atm nearby on Cornmarket St.
Mate and I westerners but first met abroad in China actually! loved it - reminded us of the noodle houses and authentic flavours abroad. We had just caught the AMAZING wcf at a nearby pub and were craving something tasty and cheap. No complaints at all - I’ve read a couple reviews here and for a tener, that was one fantastic bowl of sichuan noodles with pork dumplings. Friendly staff, just busy - cash only, standard.
We had a great dinner at this small but lovely place. It is located near Oxford high st. We had the Tufo rice and chicken curry noodles which was delicious
Very authentic food very tasty and very good portions, the place is small and always busy so you might have to wait outside but it's worth the wait it's cash only.
A cute restaurant nestled on a small street amidst the bustling city center. The shop opens promptly at 12 pm most days and a crowd of excited customers can be seen waiting outside. The spicy Sichuan pork dumpling noodles balanced a tasty broth alongside the biting, signature flavor of Sichuan pepper. The salt and pepper chicken wings were incredible as well- my family and I came back multiple times wanting more. Overall, Tse Noodle is a must-see in Oxford!
Very good authentic cooking, in particular with the Sichuan dishes you'll get the perfect levels of Sichuan peppercorn which is a unique experience. I can especially recommend the mapo tofu and the Sichuan deep fried king prawns. The owner is quite a character and usually has engaging chat too. Note it is cash only.
