Recently I ordered two soups and received four. Today I ordered pasta with seafood and I received it with meat. I am becoming more and more discouraged with the people I place my orders with.I ordered food for takeaway, so I couldn't file a complaint, besides, ladies don't always issue receipts like today for example.Service: 2/5
I ordered Bangkok noodles with chicken after work for a quick tasty meal. I wasn’t disappointed, they stayed piping hot until I got home even after calling in a shop on the way back. About 15 minutes later they were still too hot so put them in a bowl to cool! A regular size filled my cereal bowl dish, more than enough for one! Glad I tried Bangkok noodles, really nice!
Used to be the first choice for an occasional takeaway, great friendly service with food to match. The last couple of times however it seems to be slipping. More than one occasion there has been a wait time that long you end up calling to ensure they actually received the order, then either the food isn't as full of flavour as it used to be tonight's Malaysian noodles were exceptionally bland or the 90 minute wait and then watching the driver pull up in his twizy and have a good vape before he gets out to deliver your food takes the shine off it. *edited to respond to vendor* the order was placed on a Monday not a Friday or Saturday, the order was not placed in my name but I'm happy to call if you need to know the exact name/order. I appreciate it is not possible to please all of the people all of the time...but if you are consistent then people know if the food needs more or less spice for their personal taste, however bland is bland. The noodles were not mild in terms of spice, they were bland in terms of very little flavour. Lastly, sitting in your vehicle outside my drive while someone stands in the open doorway waiting for food that was ordered an hour and a half ago pulling on your vape is not checking the exact location. I think it's fair to say it is very unlikely given the last few experiences we will be ordering again.
This establishment is arguably the best place to get food. It is unique and flavourful. Additionally they have a large range of items on the menu and in store. The staff are extremely friendly and the store is very clean. I hope to return frequently. Edit: been again today had the curry and friend had a noodle soup flavours are even better than last time and a staff member was extremely attentive and helped me find items in the shop.
I used to love this place, but unfortunately the prices have gone up considerably and the quality has gone down. I understand the cost of living crisis is causing prices to rise but £9.80 for plain noodles with chicken, where the chicken was 80-85% MUSH is terrible, it literally dissolved in my mouth.Food: 1/5
Some of the best takeout noodles I've had. They taste really fresh and delicious, and aren't greasy at all. Everytime I have guests over to stay we always order from here and it's always been a great experience. Food is prepared quickly and they fit very good portions into the boxes, so there is usually leftovers for the next day. Vegetarian options: There are some lovely vegan option, and they are always happy to accomodate requests to remove non vegan ingrediants from other dishes e.g. fried egg
A bit on the pricey side but the food is so good. To be fair to the prices you do get a hell of a lot of food in their portions. We ordered a large pad Thai noodles and regular rice noodles with a large egg fried rice which easily fed 3 and properly could have done 4. I can't comment on the meat portions or quality as we didn't have any but the meals we had were fantastic and so filling.
Just had a Tom yum noodle soup and it was awful, for a start it was the first tom yum I've ever had that was dark brown and not the vibrant red as it normally is from every other Thai restaurant I've visited. Prices are steep for what is offered. I know the owner is going to say it's good value and the food is good. but it really isn't for what is offered. I've had more bad dishes recently than good from here.,
ordered teriyaki pasta with shrimps. there were no vegetables, 5 shrimps unfortunately with a strange smell. it was practically just pasta with sauce, and that's not what this dish is about. I've eaten better
Just enjoyed another absolutely delicious Thai curry, delivered promptly and with a smile by the one and only Gwyn! Great value too for us, if we order the larger size portion we find it’s enough for both of us for two meals each! What’s not to like! You can get extras from the shop dropped off at the same time as well. Keep up the good work folks
