This venue has transformed the feel of Brighton Square, making it somewhere you'd want to sit, eat and drink rather than walk through quickly. Sadly we didn't sit outside under the twinkly lights, but we were happy with out inside table and the equally gorgeous decor. Our server Yasmin was attentive, friendly and professional. The menu was just the right length, with something to please all three of us a veggie, pescetarian and omnivore, including a few nice vegetarian dishes. The only blip - one of us ordered the caesar salad which we didn't realise had meat in it so now we know what 'coppa' means!. We had to send it back and suggested they make it clearer on the menu or make sure people realise while ordering - we can't be the only ones who didn't know and we eat out a lot. The Manager changed the dish without any fuss though. Look forward to returning when the place is less busy we went on a Friday night, including with my laptop to try out the comfy looking sofas. A refreshing addition to the Brighton restaurant scene.
Had a lovely breakfast with a group of friends. Very friendly and helpful service. Nice and speedy with bacon rolls, sausage rolls Belgian buns and various coffees. Lovely!
Poor customer service from the "older waitress" very rude and blunt. Not what we expected. We waited 2 hours for food. There was another family who came after us, they ordered and got there's very quickly and came 45 mins after us. Good quality food just wasn't happy with the service.

We went into the cafe to have lunch. The food looked good, cafe was clean and we waited to be served. Young ladies there were busy chatting so we had to wait. The food was hot, tasty and nicely presentedand accompanied by a delicious cup of tea. Then I saw another lady appear from the kitchen, wipe her nose with her hand and then she cleaned something off the floor. I watched to see her wash her hands, but no! Instead she picked up a cloth and wiped the back counter. Then we heard a crash and she had dropped the tray of pies as she tried to remove them from the oven. I watched and was shocked at what I seen. Shame, but this person needs to retake their hygiene certificates and put them into practice.
Banging breakfast. Perfect level between greasy spoon and posh cafe. Good price. Quick service. Would 100% go back
Nice place.. lots of lovely food, drinks, cakes and pastries to choose from. Popularity is high, quite busy. Staff were pleasant. Will return.
