We were recommended this restaurant based on glowing reviews and it was so nice that I feel compelled to also share some glowing reviews. As a vegan it is often quite hard to find somewhere where you can browse the menu as it is always just one option, but that isn't the case here. The vegan food was so fantastic that even the meat eater I was with had some of my started and main and said it was shockingly good. For starters I had the mushroom rigatoni I believe it was and it was so nice I got the recipe, which they so kindly shared the ingredients for. For the main I had a lentil Dahl with a cauliflower steak, and I could barely hold a conversation as I was just wolfing it down. For dessert I was full so they let me take home a vegan brownie and it was amazing the next day, super fudgy and you wouldn't know it was vegan. The BYOB rules were very clear and relaxed so we brought our own wine and they provided a cooler and something to remove the cork, free of charge. The service was amazing without being overbearing and the atmosphere was lovely. I can see why this is one of the first restaurants that comes up when searching for food in Swansea, it definitely should not be missed! Dietary restrictions: There were clearly labeled gluten free options on a range of the meals available.
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! The customer service was exceptional, every member of the wait staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. As for the food, all I can say is wow. We visited on Mother's Day and opted for the special menu, which did not disappoint. Every course was a fantastic, and I would honestly give each one a 10/10. The tomato soup and apple crumble in particular were definite highlights for me, but every dish we had was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had an incredible experience and will definitely be returning.
Excellent quality food at a reasonable price. A relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.Food: 5/5
I had an excellent meal last night. Every course was delicious and I thought the bread and butter pudding was amazing. My family bought me a voucher in the summer which I used towards the meal. What was great was there was no use by date which is unusual but really appreciated. My friend really enjoyed her meal too. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and great service from one of the nicest restaurants in Swansea. Vegan/veggie options absolutely spot on. Cranachan needed a bit more whisky/honey for my liking, but was very nice anyway. My friend had meat options and loved them. BYOB always great. Will definitely be back soon :Food: 5/5
Very good food and a friendly atmosphere. Service is very helpful and friendly. One important thing of this restaurant is the "Bring Your Own"-license which means you can bring you own wine/beer to the dinner. The restaurant does not have a huge selection of beer/wine themselves so I'd definitely recommend you bring your own.Food: 4/5
This is such a lovely place to share a meal with friends and family. It was the first day of their new menu and it was excellent. The vegetarian starter and main was especially good.Food: 5/5
Lovely restaurant with good service and atmosphere. Good was okay, we enjoyed everything except the steack with fries and cheesplate, expected it to be more of high standard and fresh.Food: 3/5
On a whim, the two of us went to Truffle during the week and found a table available in 10 minutes. It took a bit longer, but the service and food were both very good. The 3-course menu for £29/person is a good way to have a good experience without breaking the bank, and every single dish was noteworthy.
The food here was amazing, top quality food for a very reasonable price! I couldn't fault it at all. The restaurant itself has a great welcoming atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. Don't forget to bring along a nice bottle of wine to enjoy with your food as it's BYOBFood: 5/5
