Went here on a Friday night for a birthday. I booked ahead and it was a pretty simple process. The down payment goes towards drinks once you get there. A free cloakroom is downstairs before you head into the main part which is always convenient. The place itself is spacious with a main dance floor and two bars on either side. You will not be waiting long for a drink as service is quick with both bars open. From opening they serve food, it would be best to book a table for food service. Drinks can be pricey, they have a 2-4-1 offer on Thursdays and Fridays on cocktails and beers. The cocktails are nice! The main reason I do like this place is that it is always lively with people that come to have a good time as well as the dancers they have that give a show from time to time. This brings the place to life! The music was way too loud, even when I was far from the dancefloor I struggled to hear the company I was with. Once I was outside my ears were ringing. Fun fact: This place used to be called Guanabara
Best night out of London! Out of ordinary club with sud America restaurant. Show and exibithion every Friday and Saturday night following disco till 3pm International environment with a mix of age 25-40 Perfect place for a group of friends or to celebrate something Thank you very much to the manager and staff see you again soon!
The bar is a topic starter, whoever came up with it is a cool person. You are in London experiencing ``the tropical heat``. Hard to keep you eyes off the mildly underdressed young girls. If you have a jealous kind of girl skip this place. The guys are also walking topless but they are shy even though their upper body is pumped up and they feel kinda embarrassed to walk around in a boxer. Receptionist are really friendly and engaging.
Attended the Musical Brunch. The performances were excellent. However the seat I was assigned was behind the stage to the right. After informing the staff and heckling the acts they moved off the stage into a central area where all tables could see the acts. The cocktails are watered down and expensive and the bottomless prosseco is by the glass. So it's carnage at the bar for the 1 hour that drinks are free. The food was uncooked. My burger pictured was cold and left blood all over the plate. I don't mind a bloody steak but not want I expect for a burger. Unsafe to eat. Later that evening they opened the stage so we could see the acts also pictured. Save your money or come with the lowest of expectations.
Awesome place, very nice food, super friendly stuff, good vibe, live music and shows +there is a nice dance floor. Highly recommended
Brilliant new venue set in a Havana, tropical beac club retreat decor. I just completed a Google 360 Virtual Tour watch out for it online and the management team are very professional. The music is absolutely great, cocktails and drinks just as extravagant as the name, super friendly staff and plenty of space to experience all areas. New kind of experiential London bar with plenty of surprises. I need to visit when the live performances are on and the food is flowing :-
I can see what they trying to achieve with deco, ambience but they are let down by their cocktails with barely any alcohol and 80% ice for £10 a glass it’s daylight robbery. On top of that they have hot men and ladies walking around flirting with you and getting you to buy more drinks and shots. The waiter s are quick aggressive at clearing your table every two minutes even taking plates away when not finished our platter yet or taking glasses away when our drinks were not finished, the food was good though. All and all I would NOT RECOMMEND this place. There are better options out there like Banga Banga next door. Two stars for deco and food.
Went to the Tropicana earlier this week, club hosted a charity event for older people. Wonderful afternoon, staff could not have been more helpful.
Went here a few years ago best club I’ve ever been too! Just noticed it’s temporarily closed which I hope really is temporary otherwise it will be such a shame!
Have been at night for clubbing and to Hip Hop Brunch. Fun experience both time. Can be expensive for cocktails but beer well priced and good selection of music.
