My experience at Triyoga was disappointing, primarily due to misleading advertising and rude staff. They promote an offer of “3 classes for £39,” which initially seemed like a good deal. However, they fail to clarify in the pop-up advertisement that this offer is only valid for 14 days from the first class. This crucial detail is missing from the advertisement, and I only discovered it after purchasing the offer. It felt like a hidden catch, as this restriction was not mentioned during sign-up. When I reached out to clarify and discuss this, the staff were unhelpful and, frankly, quite rude. Given the misleading advertisement, I politely asked if they could refund the money or compensate me with additional classes. However, the staff member who answered the phone was dismissive and didn’t seem to listen to my concerns. Even after I ask them can i send you the screenshot of the promotional message I had received which lacked any mention of the 14-day limit, they continued to refuse any form of resolution and abruptly ended the conversation. For a studio that prides itself on wellness and a supportive environment, this experience was far from positive. I felt misled and disregarded by the staff. I would caution others to double-check the fine print before committing, as what appears to be a good deal may come with unexpected limitations. Unfortunately, if issues arise, don’t expect much help or understanding from the customer service team.
The reformer pilates studio has very visible mold on the walls. The class I took was good but all the windows were closed and it was hot and humid inside and after 1 hour I realized I was breathing in mold the whole time. This is extremely upsetting to me as I've previously had mold poisoning and have been working so hard to detox, just to be exposed in a place that you would think would be a healthy oasis.
This was my first time joining Phoebe’s intermediate-level reformer class, and it was fantastic! Phoebe is incredibly cheerful and approachable. Her verbal cues were precise, and the workout had a strong fitness focus, which I really appreciated. She also offered modifications for students at different experience levels, ensuring everyone could follow along. I highly recommend her class to anyone looking for an intense and effective workout.
Questionable Billing Policies and Poor Management I have been using Triyoga Camden for 4 months, so my review would be fairly accurate. The centre is impressive and the classes I've attended pilates and hot yoga are relatively well run. I had two recent issues which left me disappointed, particularly given the ethos of yoga and Triyoga is being mindful, whole, and I expect perhaps wrongly, being honest. // Incident One - Unprincipled Demand for Doctor's Note At the start of November, after buying ad hoc classes, I bought a 3 classes a month pass for £77. On the eve of my last class for that month, I fell ill with a virus. I called in before the 4h cancellation window and was told my credit would be intact. However, as this is a month's pass, and I was at the end of the month, I asked if it would be carried forward. Shockingly, I was told they would need a doctor's note. In my 12 years of working in London, including in very demanding jobs, no one has ever asked for a doctor's note when I called in sick. But to me, if they were happy for me to keep my credits, why would rolling over to the next month suddenly require a doctor's note. I have a cold/virus, which would simply require rest - why require me to see a doctor? I was told to write in, which I did, but have not received a reply. I know they run a business, and businesses must have policies. But if you'd allow me to keep my credits for illness because I cancelled in time, I can't see why allowing me to rollover the credits for that one class would require me to visit a doctor. Also, why be so binary? Why not charge half the credits for a rollover? Yes, you are a business but there are fair ways to meet in the middle. // Incident Two - Unauthorised Rollover, Unhappiness Front-of-House When my pass ended, I suddenly saw a charge on my credit card for £77 for the next month. I am 90% sure I didn't sign up for an auto-renew - so this is likely to have been an unobvious clause in their original subscription. Nevermind that - I wrote in and called. The respond I got on the phone suggests it is poorly managed. The staff I spoke to was upset, frustrated and had no time for my query. He said he had forwarded it to the manager and he has no idea when a reply would be given. I don't blame him - I suspect he has a dozen such calls, but I don't think it is right to be left to front-of-house staff to fend for themselves. It is a simple point - if the customer has an issue, someone should be able to respond. And the front-of-house should be able to say with confidence "you'll get an answer within 48 hours". Instead, I got: "I don't know when, I can't tell you; the manage isn't here and I don't know when they will be here." I went on my account and there didn't seem to be a way to challenge a charge, or to cancel my subscription, which now seems to be on auto-renew forever. This is extremely worrying. I know of few people who don't have work travel, leisure travel, or other commitments so as to be able to attend classes every month without fail. I find the lack of a channel to challenge or cancel subscriptions deliberately opaque - given Triyoga has been around for long, it must be assumed to be intentional. Pair that with the lack of response from management. See the picture - there is nothing on the dashboard that allows you to click and cancel. And when cancelling is at the discretion of the manager or your persistence ... where does that leave us?
Love everything about this studio - from comfortable yoga/ barre rooms to amazing showers, sauna, and most importantly, people. Excellent teachers and wonderfully friendly staff. They are always willing to help, answer questions, and provide information, whether in person or on the phone. With the recent change in the credits to the classes system, there was some confusion with online lessons, which Haadi helped me to resolve swiftly, showing a lot of patience and understanding. I go to other branches, too, but coming back specifically to Camden always puts a smile on my face. I am mainly based abroad, so having access to online sessions is an absolute privilege! Thank you for the quality and friendliness you are providing us
Love the teachers and classes, but state of the bathrooms and general maintenance is very poor. Mushrooms were growing in the female showers - cancelled my membership straight away.
Awful experience, they haven't given me my refund after a month First of all, I book an indian head massage, but their system booked it as a pregnancy massage. The person had to cancel so I requested for my refund. Instead of sending me a refund via my credit card, somehow, the refund was apparently used to book another pregnancy massage I'm not even pregnant. Every time, I call and ask nicely for my refund, they simply say please forward the email to me so I can share it to my manager. I've forwarded it many time and yet nothing. Triyoga, what is this? This is not very zen like of you. Please don't rob your customers
Triyoga has some great teachers it’s just a shame that the management and front of house is so poor and that the studio is so overpriced for what you receive as a customer. This studio lacks a sense of good customer service, I’ve been practicing here for years, they know me but don’t recognize me and the staff always seem to be unhappy. When they’ve made mistakes in overcharging me they refused to resolve it. In other moments I’ve been further confronted with their lack of care and flexibility. As a teacher myself, I know the teachers don’t get paid well for their work, despite having the most expensive class prices in north London. So it’s a poor deal for everyone but the business owners. You can find all the teachers at triyoga elsewhere so I would suggest to shop around.
It was my first time at TriYoga and definitely not the last one. The vibe is great, the class was enjoyable and Haadi in particular was super nice, explained everything clearly, showed me the space and was very helpful and smiley.
the staff were really accommodating when i needed to make a last minute rebooking of my class when i wasn’t feeling well, which i really appreciated! i went for 90mins of kundalini open — the instructor was very experienced, the atmosphere was calming and safe and i felt recharged and at peace afterwards. the instructor was also really friendly and checked in on me before and after class, seeing that it was my first time at the studio. highly recommended!
