Each time I visit a new church, I can't help but wonder what Christ or Paul might say about it if they were to send a letter, much like the letters in the New Testament. Today, I wish to express my thoughts on my experience at Trinity Baptist Church.nnAs I entered, my expectations were shaped by my past visits to different churches. However, Trinity Baptist Church stood out from the moment I stepped in. Rather than encountering a mere community center or hall, the investment in the house of God was evident. Coming from a Baptist background, I put on my 'Baptist self,' but what I experienced was a beautiful Bapticostal spirit – truly praiseworthy.nnThe church is undeniably blessed by the Spirit, fostering an environment where everyone seems to be a minister, and no one appears to be out of work. Witnessing the talents of the singers, musicians, and the media teams was truly inspiring. In many churches, such contributions are often a prayer request, but here, they are fulfilled by not just members but responsible ministers – whether volunteers or full-time. The church leadership, including the pastor and elders, should take a moment to express gratitude and praise for this.nnI must commend the worship and media teams for their extraordinary contributions. Blessings upon Pastor Kingsley and the leadership for investing in quality equipment for Kingdom business. The flow of God's presence is tangible as we approach Him with our best offerings.nnWhile I joined the extended family in feeling welcomed, I would like to share a personal experience. Coming to Christ during my teenage years, the warm reception under the entrance holds special significance for me. Unfortunately, this area seemed to lack the welcoming touch during my recent visit. Having left with just a welcome card, I felt a bit disconnected. I would encourage dedicated individuals to ensure that everyone, especially newcomers, feels the warmth of welcome.nnIn the broader context, I observed many empty seats in the church. Croydon is known for its challenges, and I believe the church has the potential to make a significant impact. Those empty seats represent an opportunity to preach the Gospel and bring people to Christ in a society that needs it. With dedicated ministers and magnificent facilities, Trinity Church has the potential to bring about positive change.nnIn closing, I express my love and gratitude for the worship, the Word, and the church's stance according to Scripture. May God bless Trinity Baptist Church abundantly in the coming year. Beautiful house of God. A place to worship and be revived. If you happen to visit London and specifically Croydon be at Trinity Baptist church for worship.
Very nice worship place everyone needs to be a member. Preaching was powerful straight forward for everyone to understand
Beautiful building with disabled access and space. Been here twice for some events. A graduation and a concert for black history month. While it is an outstanding building with beautiful features the staff let it down. At the concert the sound system kept cutting out and we found out the staff had “kicked” the plug turning it off. All night the sound system kept “freezing” “turning off” and needed to be reset. It really ruined an amazing event. I hope they sort that issue.
Anytime you are in the Croydon area please make time to visit our new church building. The auditorium is just amazing with a large youth hall. The toilets are exquisite. There is also a children area and contains many offices for the pastors and admin staff.
