W've known Sam for a number of years from Networking and will always remember our 121 we had a number of years ago at a Milton Keynes event. We started working with Sam of Trinity Accountants at the end of last year after our previous accountant sadly passed away but have been blown away by Sam’s knowledge, help and advice, she's also a saint having to put up with working with us haha and actually makes tax fun! If you are thinking about working with Sam and Trinity don't think about it, JUST DO IT!!! you won''t regret it Thank you Sam and Team Trinity for all your help A very happy customer.
The team at Trinity have been fantastic since we joined earlier this year! They're always happy to take the time to answer our questions, however simple they are. Their advice has been instrumental in helping us to save tax. We've also been introduced to Xero which is an excellent platform to keep our business records up to date. Thanks Sam and the team!
I originally had a sticky start with Trinity the majority of which on reflection was due to my inexperience as a business owner. Having used their services for two and half years I have witnessed a steady improvement in the levels of support and now find them highly responsive. A special mention needs to go to Louis Scallon who has been outstanding since he took control of my accounts helping me out of a couple of binds of my own making over the last few months. The XERO tool is fantastic and would recommend to everyone with a small business irrespective of who does you accounting.
Moved to Trinity as Sam seemed the perfect fit. Seemed extremely knowledgeable with property etc. After the move things went downhill pretty much instantly. Sam was way too busy networking or doing useless Live streams on YouTube. Was left to deal with office staff who were waaaaaaaay under qualified to deal with any of our queries. Left them in less than 3 months. Rule number 1 - don’t advertise for new business if you can’t keep your existing customers happy. Wish I could give them a zero star.
I moved to Trinity after a bad experience from my previous accountants. They made the whole switch process effortless, as they do everything and there is always someone available when I have any questions. I regularly do recommend and will continue to recommend Trinity in the future. Thanks guys for all your help.
Sam and her team have exceeded my expectations. I didn't realise my old accountant was so stuck in the 60's. They are always on the ball, looking out for any change in company tax laws and advising on how the changes may affect me. The setup of my company, accounts and vat number was effortless. They have an agreement with a great bank who provide a superb service for the business accounts. That speaks volumes, banks don't make deals to support no mark companies, they recognise potential. The online accounting platform is superb. Well thought out and all encompassing. Create invoices in a matter of minutes, log mileage expenses, receipts. The system lets you instantly see how much you have invoiced each month and relative to previous months. It's very intuitive and makes accounting a breeze. Any communication from Sam and Trinity is clear, concise and well thought out.
Unfortunately I've had a very frustrating experience with this firm. My emails were perpetually ignored, my VAT returns were always last minute leaving me up late at night or cancelling meetings to double check details... I always found savings of 15-20% due to lack of attention to detail on their behalf. If I hadn't have micro managed them I'd have so many HMRC surcharges and would have paid thousands of pounds of additional VAT on non-vatable income! They even forgot to do my self assessment. I left the firm and it took them over a month to forward the most basic information to my new accountant. There used to be a number of other similar reviews like this on their Facebook page but they've not hidden their reviews now which says a lot. I cannot recommend them at all.
Unfortunately its nothing but bad news here, they lost alot of my receipts which resulted in a higher tax bill for myself, I think they personally took on too many accounts and couldn't cope with the amount even passing on the extras to their juniors. Not getting an apology was possibly the biggest blow, especially paying £180 a month for their 'service' all in all I wish I had gone elsewhere from the start but now, im alot happier.
From our very first meeting and to date Sam and her team have provided excellent advice and service, and are always prompt in dealing with any enquiries we make.This has made the whole task of dealing with our business stress free.
