Best kept secret in Huddersfield! Don't let the location put you off, it's a hidden gem!
Lots of vegan and vegetarian options so good to cater to everyone, staff are very nice and treat you like family. Food was so delicious, restaurant was family friendly. Atmosphere is nice and cosy, the decor makes you feel comfy and relaxed without making the restaurant feel too casual. Overall, lovely food and lovely staff made for a lovely evening!
Absolute gem of a place. The owner is really lovely and makes you feel he is s welcoming you into his home. I had calamari starter which was fabulous and lots of it, my husband had soup which he said was delicious. All our mains were wonderful chicken Sisilia, calzone, lasagna and salad and we were just disappointed that we didn't have room for desert. Chianti wine was beautiful as well. All reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
Truly the most delicious Italian food I've ever had in this country. Im a vegan but happy to have dairy when there aren't any options for me. Once the chef heard I was vegan however, she came out and spoke with me and prepared me the most delicious spaghetti dish I have ever had. She was so passionate about feeding me according to my needs while remaining true to Sicilian cuisine. All the food is made from scratch and it's very apparent that everything they prepare is made with love and with a real passion for food! A true gem!!
Had a beautiful meal here this evening. A really interesting menu with lots of Sicilia specialities. Children are well catered for with a good value two course menu and drink included. The best bit is the staff - very welcoming, very child friendly, our 6 & 3 year olds had a great time! Definitely going again.
Hidden Gem - Only came across this resturant by chance as its frontage caught our eye whilst queuing in traffic, so decided to give it a go and went last night and really enjoyed it. Inside the resturant its done up n a simple but charmign mediterranean style. Service was was ecellent, and the food was delicious both startes and main were really enjoyable. Menu is not too lengthy, Wine is reasoanbly priced and also the servioce was not rushed which meant we spent a good 2 hours there enjoying the meal and having a chat, would defintely go back, a hidden gem
Wow what a gem, great food had the £8.95 menu lots of variety fresh ,good ,well cooked the service was really friendly and the owner also came to chat which was lovely , really felt like I wasn't in paddock . Decor is traditional fun and bright.. Will visit again soon thsnx for a great evening x
The food was beautiful... would be good if they had a child menu as my youngest son was over faced when his food came and could not eat it as it overwhelmed him ...a little over priced but lovely service polite and food was beautifully cooked and presented nicely .thank you
The best restaurant in Huddersfield. Very art food. Excellent vine, gorgeous home made cakes. Nice music. Friendly staff. I hope to go there soon.
