Our second stay at Trentinney. And a lovely one it was. It's very peaceful and ideally situated for the North of Cornwall.
Just returned from another wonderful and relaxing stay at Trentinney Farm Cottages. We have been coming here since 2006, initially with our son staying in the Haywain, a spotlessly clean and well equipped cottage. Since 2013 we have stayed in the Roundhouse which is for 2 people, again spotlessly clean etc. All COVID guidance is being followed and extra cleaning materials are provided. The owners Richard and Alison are always welcoming and very helpful. It is a working farm and there is always something going on. Children love it here. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is an ideal place as it is very peaceful and quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
This is our third stay at Trentinney Farm and we love it. Alison and Richard are such lovely friendly people who give everyone a warm welcome. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. The farm itself is great with space for the children to play and or course the farm tours from Richard. The location is great for exploring North Cornwall and there is a great farm shop and cafe just on the main road which is very convenient.
We have been coming here for years... my ‘children’ 24; 22 & 18! love it and all come if they can! The cottages are all well equipped, the bed is so comfy, I want to take it home! We’ve stayed in the majority of the cottages, depending on our party size.... all are wonderful and unique. - the views are amazing.... the dog loves it here... this is her first time on holiday with us, she’s only 18 months old, but we will not hesitate to bring her again. we’ve brought all our dogs here! It is such a relaxing break, long walks over the fields, fresh air and farm life at its best. Alison and Richard are wonderful hosts, full of advice of where to go and what to do. We’ve seen cows and sheep close up, great for kids of all ages!nSee you in 2019!
We had a beautiful stay at the farm. The Stable was very comfortable and the bed was very luxurious. Richard and Alison made us very welcome. My daughter and her friend both 15, absolutely loved being taken out on the four by four at night when Richard did his nightly animal feeding round,.myself and my husband also took in the views from the fields surrounding the farm looking over Port Isaac and Tintagel, . The farm is very restful. and lets you see the real Cornwall.The turn out is a little daunting but if you are in Cornwall you have to get used to Cornish windy narrow lanes. Thankyou for a lovely time.
