Interesting place to spend 10-15 minutes. Information signs give you some history of the site and tell you what you are looking at. You can park on areas of the road that aren't marked with double yellow lines as of August 2026 the surrounding plots of land are not built on or the site is a 10 minute walk if you are parking at the Premier Inn free parking for hotel guests. There is a seperate standing stone a 5 minute walk away visible on Google Maps.
Nice place. In walking distance from Premier Inn.nnWhen it's windy the close by woods are earie. At summer the flowers blossom behind the tomb on the slope making it stunning view, almost like a barrier protecting from evil spirits.nnThere is a lot interesting monuments and places to see in Anglesey. Very much recommended irrelevant of the weather.
Amazing communal neolithic burial chambers, I decided to walk to it from Holyhead Marina with a sketchy idea on its whereabouts Google not being able to pronounce Street names and getting ahead of itself was like orienteering with a drunk friend though I enjoyed the adventure. I knew there was a lovely standing stone in that area but had never before found these chambers and it's clear they're all part of a much bigger communal meeting and burial area.
A special spot. Right off the road, but easy to miss. Sort of no parking, but not well trafficed. Said to be three different burial mounds. The people buried here were loved.
Lovely spot to visit.n4 out of 5 as nowhere to park to visit. You have to walk a bit if visiting in car.
