Enjoyed my visit here - good variety of desserts, a bit more range than everything else out there. A bit busy - not sure why upstairs was closed - but once a table came free Zahib cleaned our table well and served us later too. Desserts were all great tasting - tried the pistachio and milk cake for the first time - everyone in my group loved it. The warm mini donuts are quite satisfying too.
Beautiful deco, polite staff, desserts look quality on display, great variety to choose from whatever tickles your fancy. I had a freakshake which I demolished! Also ordered a apple crumble with custard which husband said reminded him of his school days yummy. Great atmosphere :
It was my second time to visit Treatz dessert and I loved it again. Yesterday we tried a taco trio for £9. The portion size was good and all the flavours were nice. WC is available inside. Nearby parking is available.
The time I went in with my family the supervisor or manager was having an argument with a customer who she told to get out of the shop. Then the staff got busy chattering about what happened which was unprofessional because me and two other customers were waiting to place our order. Then they got the order wrong on the table and I got a refund in return which was a disappointment. The three stars because everyone else order on my table was fine. But my experience was ruined I understand they are busy but there’s no excuse to get the order wrong. And the lady gave me a dirty lid for my milkshake and I had to tell her to get it changed.
It was okay at best. Crêpe was under done. How a crêpe is undercooked is beyond me. The staff was super tired and less interested in customer service. They appeared to be struggling to answer basic questions like which one is your best selling waffle. Priority was being given to online orders. There was no queue but had to wait 40 minutes at the counter to order..
Quality had greatly degraded from the initial days. Mango milk cake had a sour taste and bad smell. The chef acknowledged that this one is bad and changed with pista milk cake which was not good like before. Toilets were locked, out of service.
I ordered choc fudge cake and apple crumble. Plus two water bottles. Delivered in one small bag where the two glass bottles were placed on the hot pudding boxes. When I opened the bag, one box had squashed because of the weight of the glass bottles. I didn't expect the custard to be in a cardboard box. It did not look appetising, instead it looked unhygienic as if somebody had taken a bite. When I called the restaurant, they made excuses that it was the delivery guys fault - well he wasn't the one who placed two heavy water glass bottles on two fragile boxes that contained custard! The bag was sealed so the way it was packed was Treatz responsibility. When asked why the glass bottles were not placed in a different bag common sense, he said that bottles wwr placed correctly on the side...the bag was small, they obviously placed on top of the dessert boxes as there was no room on the sides to fit them. Also, he said that it was normal to put custard in a box! Usually I find most dessert places will place the ice cream or custard in a separate container to the actual dessert, not mixed in a cardboard box, especially if it's a delivery. He then said we don't get any complaints....sure you don't because clearly you didn't know how to handle or accept your fault. Not helpful at all, just making pathetic excuses on my every point. And then he went on saying, next time we can sort something - well there wont be a next time for me. I am done with Treatz...over priced and I could even get a full cheesecake from Sainsburys for £3 whereas Treatz serves a slice for £3 and tastes exactly the same!!! Rip off! If the quality/packaging was good then I can understand but it was very disappointing. The dessert was wasted along with my money. Thanks for nothing!
As a group of four, we ordered 3 different desserts and a milkshake, they were all well made and delicious. The price is really good for what you get and the staff was lovely. The only thing I will say is that it can get very busy and you might have to wait a while to receive your order depending in how busy it is. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be returning again.
Had the family sharing platter which was very nice! Also had the churros and they were ok! I like their brookie as well
Very good... Wife loves the choc freak shake and it IS good with cake hanging over the glass.. Service is good as well... Overall a recommended place to go with family... Just been here again and served by Ibrar this time. Attached pics show what awesomeness he has produced, kids always love it
