Nicely arranged selection of beautiful geological wonders from all over the world. The atmosphere is a bit dark, which makes it peaceful and mysterious at the same time. It may take about 30 min to 1 hour to explore everything depending how curious you are. Definitely recommend visiting to everyone! There is also a gift shop where you can get a sample of your favourite gem.
Really nice place to visit. Lots of specimens and examples of stones and minerals from allover the world. Great gift shop too. The only little snag - been to museums far bigger and nicer that were free of charge, you could do the whole visit in about 20min. Just expected a bit more from it.
A very interesting museum if you have the extra time I recommend a visit. It describes a bit the history of the various stones, the origin and the method of extraction. The ticket costs £ 6 but you have the option to return on a second day for free within a week's period.
Very nice place Enroute from Glennfinnan monument to fort William in Scotland. You can get a good education on minerals and some of the historical animals and fishes. The place is well maintained. There is a fee to go into the earth museum. The ambiance is really good with some special light effects that reflects that the true colourful properties of the minerals. The staff are very friendly and they also have a small shop outside where you can buy the minerals as souvenirs. Staff are very friendly and definitely a good place to visit.
Really impressive collection of gemstones and fossils. My 5 and 7 year old thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it kept their attention. Gift shop is great as well!
Had a really good visit to the Treasures of the Earth exhibition. There is loads different examples of each element and type of rock or crystal, with information about where they are found and how they develop. Loads of fossils too, including a sabre tooth tiger, t-rex and some fish which I forget what they are called. Fun interesting exhibition. Gift shop was cool, nice selection of shaped rocks, fossils and crystal gifts. Well worth a visit.

It's this one of really offbeat place you get inside with no expectations and really be amazed. If you like stones and fossils this is the place to vist . Really a different experience. Worth going to .Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
