Oh my gosh one of the best fish and chips I've been too. All fresh and cooked to order. Nice friendly staff. Can't wait to visit and have fish and chips again.
Well I can’t wait to be back in north wales again cause this will be the 1st place we go back too, the fish and chips were stunning and a really good size portion been as though I asked for a small fish and chips and very reasonable priced at £6.20, the food was cooked fresh and having asked for plenty of salt and vinegar they didn’t disappoint! Highly recommend
Visited here on a Saturday night in March 2022. I was a walk in order so expected a bit of a wait once I'd ordered, although it was perhaps more than I'd expect elsewhere. They are also another place that's cash only, so had to walk into town to an ATM before walking back again. They aren't the only place like this, but not sure how they managed through covid with having to touch all that cash! Prices seemed about average, maybe slightly less. However the food was sadly average. The fish seemed a little too processed although was freshly battered, but the chips were ok. Portions perhaps on the smaller side from places back home. Would probably investigate other options before visiting again, but certainly not on the list of places I'd never revisit! Current menu attached.
Really yummy, I am usually quite fussy with foods about textures etc and this was perfect. The food arrived quickly, meal included 6 chicken nuggets and had additional sausage and fritter. All done to my liking, would go back.
Very busy at 6pm on a Saturday but unsurprised as the meal was delicious. The staff wete going like the clappers to turn the orders out! Our first visit but definitely not our last, chips were beautiful, fish was crispy and not greasy or sopped in oil, all were freshly cooked and the half chicken while not massive, was certainly a good size. The order stayed piping hot on our 10min drive back to our caravan. Friendly, fresh, hardworking and averagely priced, what's not to like?
10/10 service and fresh food, very welcoming experience. Would recommend the spicy curry sauce!
Ordered cod and chips. Did not realize that cod had shrunk so much recently. Maybe it's the high cost of fish or the cost of energy that has led to the decrease. Overall fish tasted ok chips could be better.
Traditional fish and chip shop .food was cooked to order great tasting crispy battered fish and fluffy chips kids menu Also available probably the best chippy for miles would highly recommend Parking: Parking on the road outside
Good for traditional fish and chips. Some chips bad. Parking: Usually easy parking on road close by.
I'm a fish and chips addict and this place is outstanding. First class food at very reasonable prices and served with passion by a committed and passionate owner and staff. When I'm anywhere near the area while working I have to ensure that a visit for cod and chips is part of my day. Superb, you will undoubtedly return once you've sampled for yourself.
