Went to the TP in Keighley this morning, no issues at all, sound lads and Great customer service. Ended up needed some more bits and went to the brighouse one in the afternoon, told the staff we needed a ton of sand, 2 pallet loads of blocks, and 5 bags of cement. he said we would have to load it ourselves or go elsewhere. They were literally stood round talking, when I asked if they could load it for us, said they couldn’t do it, no reason why. Went to Myers next door who got our order together and loaded in 10 mins, with no issues. Customer service goes along way! Don’t understand why the customer service can be different from Keighley to brighouse. If your having issues and equipment ain’t working, don’t need to take it out on the customers. Maybe explain instead of been so confrontational. Will never go in brighouse branch again. Myers is literally 2 mins drive away, and the customer service is class!

Went in to buy a lintel - wasn’t asked whether I wanted to pay cash or put it on my account. Assistant assumed I wanted to put the item on account despite me waving my bank card around. He printed an invoice showing the charge on my to account. I told him I wanted to pay cash. After much sighing and obvious irritation on his part he marked the invoice “cancelled” and assured me he would deal with it later that day. He then took it to the managers desk and forgot all about it. I re- iterated that I did not want this item to appear on my account. He assured me he would deal with that day. One week later, I received an invoice showing the amount for the lintel. No surprise there ! I immediately rang and the assistant who had served me answered the phone. No problem he would sort it out immediately and would ring me back to confirm he had done so. At that point I drove to to tp. The assistant, who couldn’t hide quick enough, said he was dealing with it. Looked to me like he was standing there doing nothing. The manager ? said he would deal with it there and then issued a credit note for a returned item. No apology from the assistant who seemed to feel the mistake was mine rather than his. No apology for failing to ring me back - it was obvious from his attitude that he had no intention of ever ringing back. A very superficial apology from the manager ? and no sign of a reprimand for a totally unhelpful and indifferent member of staff.
Excellent customer service,very knowledgeable and friendly.Proffesional and attentive they all deserve a wage increase.Would recommend.
