Rooms are not properly maintained, even though the hotel seems somewhat new. In our room, the AC kept making noises and didn't cool the room enough. And it was set on a certain temp range, so you can't make it go much lower. We actually had to turn it off to have some sleep.nnBedding wasn't comfortable also, especially the pillows which were too firm. Not good for front sleepers at all. At least they should provide a couple of pillows per person 1 soft +1 firm.
Whilst it isn't actually a 5-star hotel it definatley gets 5 stars for a great budget hotel. Spotless rooms and public areas, comfy king sized bed, adjustable air con and blackout curtains. Bar for a cheeky nightcap and unlimited breakfast at a good price. Couldn't ask for more for an overnight stay. Location perfect fornour visit.
the rooms are standard and don't have a hairdryer. they are warm even with the aircon on making a ridiculous noise to the point we had to turn it off and try the window but then the lorrys outside were chugging away at extreamly early hours including the biffa lorry at 6am that was sat outside the room for a good 30minutes however for the price of the stay we cant complain for a place to rest our heads and refresh. the £10pp breakfast was a really good touch and extreamly good value to the point that even general public not sleeping at the premises turned up for it although just as a tip for the breakfast buffet ideally keep the milk and cereal bowls the opposite side away from the hot breakfast and take the lid off the hash browns so they stay crispy rather than a soggy stodge. location is fantastic for the designer outlet, the steam museum and even as a stop over for an onward journey. all in all i would stay again at this travelogde as it was clean, value for money and in a grea location.
Terrible night sleep due to being allocated room with main dual carriageway road outside room on first floor. Photo was taken after 10am next morning. Continual vehicle noise all night. Hotel did not appear very occupied so staff should allocate rooms first on other side of hotel which is much quieter.
Service and staff where absolutely great. Rooms were nice and clean. There are many shops nearby and some off licences open till 1 am.
