Another travelodge anther review. So on entering the room at first glance you think yeah, nice standard room, clean and good. Then you decide to have a closer look! See pics for all mentioned.A messy painter obviously touched up room as there is paints slashes on door, and grey paint on units! There is water or some fluid stains up walls, black dirt on shower walls and more alarmingly, a wire sticking out of the heater, now not an electrician but is that dangerous? Didn't touch it to find out but if you checked into this room with kids and didn't notice the wire and they touched it could they get a shock!!!! On entering hotel there was cages of dirty bed sheets outside doors and on leaving they was still there, not really something you want to see. Broken drain outside i spotted too! Apart from that I had a good nite sleep and room was nice and quiet considering it's in a services.
I stay here often for work and the rooms are always clean and surprisingly quiet. We are always welcomed like family by the staff. I would happily recommend staying here especially as a stop over.Rooms: 5/5
Basic rooms, as you'd expect from a Travelodge, but clean and very quiet. Friendly reception staff when I arrived at 2am after a flight arrival into Heathrow 40 mins drive. Great value and extremely convenient for my purposes - an overnight stop and nothing more. Convenient for food outlets right next to the rooms in the service area too, some of which were also open that late at night, so no worries about finding food and drinks too. Free parking right by the rooms - just let tell the reception staff your vehicle registration details.
Pros: rooms nice and clean and good price. Cons: People the size of elephants shouldn’t be allowed to stay on the upper floor.. i heard every single footstep/movement from the person above. also this said beast you can hear them go toilet!! they piss like a Karcher pressure washer on the highest setting!
I've stayed here with my family. Great location, nice staff. The rooms are big and spacious. They are clean . There is a park for children outside. The assistant manager is lovely and always has a smile on his face.Rooms: 5/5
Really good stay, room and bedding was clean and fresh, TV needed retuning but didn't bother me. Noise of M4 can be heard of your on the back of the hotel so front rooms probably a bit quieter.
If you're after sleep, then avoid. On the ground floor sounded like building work above my room all night. Just as I got off to sleep, the staff knocked on my door as I wasn't checked in properly!! Doors slamming all night! Then, with midday check out, I thought I'd go back to sleep! Nope, staff chatting loudly outside my room. Cleanliness wasn't great. Someone's flob on sink handle, blood, and wee stain on duvet, wire hanging down in Bath room. All the bedding was stored outside under the walkways.
Good place to stop for a night. We arrived back late at Heathrow airport and weren't fit to drive back to Cornwall. It was so cheap £25 per room. They were clean, warm, comfortable beds and had everything you'd want for a night stopover. It's the services so also had all the usual food and drink places and some, I think 24hours.
The walls are so thin you can hear everything in the next room. Will never stay here again so poor it's unrealRooms: 1/5
Old decor. Two plug sockets in the room not next to bed. Bring an extension lead if you have electricals to plug in. The shower was good. Bath too small to lay in for tall persons. Bed was clean and comfy. Electric Radiator in room to use is always good. No heated towel rail. No lift to Upper floors. Net curtains would be a good addition to help stop bugs coming in the windows.
