I had a room on the 3rd floor over a Friday, Saturday night stay, it was basic but clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure and the bed was comfortable. I slept well, there was very little noise from other guests and only some mild road noise. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. The room was stocked with hot drink items and the kettle worked well, as did the TV. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room which I would of liked. This Travelodge did not have on site parking, you had to park at a nearby multi storey. You can get a discount ticket from reception. I paid a total of £15 parking for roughly 38 hours in two stints. Overall the travelodge met my expectations and suited my purposes just fine.

Tired and needs updating. Poor use of room with too much space. Needs dusting and no aircon or bar/restaurant options sadly like other travelodges.

It's a travelodge which means it's basic, but was it good value? I paid £65 including a breakfast box, so what did I get. I basic room (they all are) reasonably clean, with tea and coffee. A room facing a main road, however it was double glazed so reasonably quite at night. It did however overlook a much nicer looking hotel which just made me resent my company's policy on hotel stays! As I was travelling for business I arrived late and left early so I didn't get to sample the delights of "Benny's restaurant" Not sure I could have eaten in the bright pink interior or if it just serverd ice cream! I did get to get ready for the day with a "Breakfast box" Including cornflakes, milk, orange juice and a cranberry muffin.... I thought Christmas had come early! Overall wasn't blown away but was consistent with what I'd expect a travelodge to be. Would stay again on business but not for pleasure.

Corridors smelt a bit strange but room itself was fine. Hot water seemed to be limited in the room (308). Good price and location.

Take ear plugs ( the double glazing needs reinforcing ) due to location next to heavy traffic, wi - fi was slow to reboot to. Apart from that it was ok , clean and practical .
