Firstly I must say Charlotte at reception was simply amazing from the greeting us to checking-in, along with being very helpful given us ideas of what to do within the area. Shout out to Molly too, both ladies offered excellent customer service. I'm regards to my stay; Absolute great location to stay at, Car Park on the road, 8 min drive from sandy beach Loads of shops, clubs, pubs bars, food shops etc. on the same road. Nice quiet night sleep, looks like rooms have been revamped as mine was really nice. Highly recommend
The best travelodge we've stayed in. Really lovely staff especially Callum. Amazing location...ask for a harbour view. Nice rooms and very clean. Breakfast is very good for a tenner. Thanks we will be returning Rooms: Nicely done Nearby activities: Great restaurants try ala turka it's amazing Food & drinks: Very good value breakfast lots of choice
Rooms were okay but they were starting to update them all again last time we went. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Location..... beautiful Rooms: 4/5
Claire the Supervisor goes out of her way to look after you, a very special lady. Wendy who cooks the gorgeous breakfast is another wonderful lady such a smiley person. Wish to note that the above are a asset to the Company. We always enjoy our stay here, feel like family. A very clean and spotless place 10/10
First impression, OK, but that is where it ends. Enter the lobby via the broken front sliding doors, having to manually open & close them. Lobby is small & uninviting. Checked in, receptionist helpful giving directions to the room. Using the lift, we get to the floor of our room only to be met with a stale odour within the corridor. Opened the door to room, only to be welcomed with a stale, stuffy, unfresh smell. The bed was well presented & clean as was the bathroom. However, the carpets could do with a clean, probably where the stale smell is locked in. Unfortunately, the bed was not for us. we just could get comfortable waking several times during our stay. There are no extra pillows on offer either, which most probably would have helped. The room had a small balcony, which wasn't for use. With the frosted glass felt like a prison. Suggestion for the carpets be cleaned and the place fleshend up. Bigger t.v's as they are too small in the rooms. For the council to be pressured into overhauling the car park on offer from the hotel. The car park is run down no lifts, no real signage for vehicles or pedestrians to safely navigate. Didn't feel that my vehicle would be safe being parked. Lucky the vehicle was still where we left it & all wheels correct & present Breakfast - Passable, it was a little chaotic with the layout. The sausages bacon, scrabbled egg barley warm. Not for a 2nd helping. Food quality looks on the cheap side. Staff friendly & well presented.
Claire greeted us warmly. She was very accommodating in terms of our heater not working. She came to the room and rectified the issue immediately. Would definitely recommend. Walkability: The view by the harbour this time of year in the evening is stunning with the beautiful lights. Walking around at leisure is also ideal.
I wish you could only book a room directly over the phone via bookings receptionist. It's so easy to muck up online bookings if you don't find it easy. Then emails confirmations of account, and confirmations of bookings etc .etc. Then fat thumbs. I booked last night instead of tonight after my first booking didn't work and I mucked up on second booking. Whacked 120 before I've even gone anywhere. Noteworthy details: Happy new year
Great view from the room, comfy large room, in town centre close to everything , helpful and friendly staff, cannot fault it.Rooms: 5/5
Lovely place to stay. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Have been in the summer and again in the winter to explore the area. Will definitely be going backHotel highlightsGreat view
Arrived early at 4am. Was told the doors don’t open until 7am. It’s winter and it’s freezing. He’s left me needing the toilet to sit outside on the floor. Won’t even give me a refund. Customer service phone number doesn’t open until 10am. Disgusting.Rooms: 1/5
