This was my favourite Travelodge yet. I know it's not in a brilliant location but when you go inside it's not only spotlessly clean, my room for one person was large, clean,warm and cosy. Staff were lovely and the little cafe breakfast room was well stocked, good prices and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again.
The parking is NOT free. If you drive a pick up, you wont get round the support pillars.nRestaurant is poorly stocked, no potatoes, no chips, no something else but on the up side, happy hour- 2 pints of Stella for 7 quid.nPleasant staff. Good value for 30 quid but not 60 or 70.
Very nice hotel with staff who are always willing to help! There are two shuttered carparks which although very secure, are very tight due to their steel pillars making them not suitable for large suvs. There is however outdoor parking with limited spaces, and another car park near by. All car parks require payment.
Room was very clean, and the bed was good! Location was good too, there is a car park inside the building but it's only for small cars,you can park outside but space is limited. There is also a nice little bar next to reception and you can order food too.
I arrived on the afternoon of 30th October and was greeted at reception but a smiley member of staff, I instantly felt welcome. The room appeared clean barring a couple of issues, no soap in the bathroom dispenser and the sink plug didn't seem to be functioning properly, otherwise it was a pleasant stay.nnI had breakfast too which was nice and would recommend, you can pay for this on arrival as I did.nnThe fire alarm went off the following morning and some of us vacated our rooms before it finally stopping, no-one told us what was happening and whether or not we still had to evacuate until I had to ask someone
