Hotel located in a convenient place with many restaurants nearby. Chargeable parking at the rear of the hotel. Room was okay, shower pressure was really good, however we did get water everywhere because of the shower curtain. We stayed 2 nights for a wedding and it fit the bill.
As others have mentioned, if you have a room overlooking Abbey Street you will get noise from the Mercado Lounge and then on a Friday and Saturday when the pubs kick out possibly also Thursday night but I wasn't there then. Decent double glazing would solve this issue. Other than that, the hotel was great. Clean, friendly, nice room, comfy bed.Will use again but will request room at the back.

Nice rooms with comfy beds, although our television didn’t work very well. Also not much bathroom space to put your shower items when in there. There was no edge on the bottom of the shower to keep the water in, so our floor was soaking, we had to use one of the towels provided to try and block it all. Not very communicative reception staff aside from the kind lady this afternoon. We paid for WiFi that was extremely slow : Also just above a few bars so extremely noisy in the early hours.
This is a business trip and was booked through a business account. So I’m fuming that I was put on the road side of the hotel. Absolutely shocking nights sleep. Literally writing this whilst I’m still awake at 03:30am after trying to sleep for the last 5 hours. I was given a warning when I booked in that there may be some street noise, so I instantly had my worries, but the The Nags Head about 300m away from the hotel is incredibly noisy and doesn’t shut until 3am. I’d avoid this hotel if you’re a Professional on a work trip as I am.
