Rooms were large, very clean and I'm very much enjoying the heaters in here. Easy to use and keeps the room nice and toasty.nnNo bar or restaurant sadly, my room had a broken light and broken shampoo dispenser. Had to ask for it to be refilled to then watch it leaked for the next day which wasn't ideal. So they'll need to replace this l, I've had no shampoo for a couple of days.nnAside from this, it's a large room only hotel, very close to shops as it's based in a retail park, restaurants and shops with gyms near by. Visiting with work, ive had worse and the stay met my needs.
Nice big room, nice decor and enough clean towels.nSink overflow filthy, I had to pour bleach down it before I could use the sink. The bath overflow I thought was rusty but it was wipeable dirt I found out.nAir vent in bathroom needs cleaning. Nice but very rough around the edges
Me and my partner stayed here for a few days in August, and we both really enjoyed our stay. Especially given that the staff were incredibly friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. In particular, Benjamin made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we stepped foot through the doors, and always provided service with a smile on his face.
Yes it is a 3 star hotel, but the rooms are fairly clean and staff is friendly. However, if you are going there to relax, this is not the place for you. Not very sound proof, out dated, shower is fed from a pump system so it is pulsing. Meaning, if you want to have a warm shower, you will experience a constant warm and cold water while showering. So, you freeze and then you burn. The toilet is looking like it is going to drop down at any point and the toilet seat does not fit the profile of the toilet so it moves around. Is a also floating toilet so it makes it worse. The parking deserves a 0 score. It's a parking and it is free, but you are shearing it with all the shoppers. My car got scratched multiple times and I also got parked in so i have to climb through the back hatch to get it. Because you are sharing the parking lot, you can't just go ask the front desk to ask the guest to quickly move so that you can get out.nWell, on the location I give it a solid 5 stars. You have just about everything you need within half a miles walk and I mean everything. Food, clothing, casino, movies, restaurants, etc.nThe breakfast is not worth it. Save your money and walk 1 minute to Toby Carvery for a good old fashioned breakfast. The rooms needs a bit more attention when Cleaning. I can maybe understand in top of the cupboard but not the headboard, table, skirting or shelves. If you suffer from hayfever an fit is triggered by dust, then ensure it is clean before you move in.nThe staff is extremely helpful and I would rate the staff a solid 5. Well done.
