The condition of the room was poor. The bathroom fittings are badly in need of refurbishment.nThe bathroom vent was so full of dust I could see things living in it.nThe kettle was disgusting but I braved a sachet coffee as I was gasping after a long journey. It tasted disgusting.nLuckily, this Travelodge is in an excellent location in Westwood Cross, close to all the shops and restaurants. So we were able to spend little time in the room.nThe staff were nice and friendly.
Lovely spacious room, the best bed ever!!!!!! All clean and fresh, near to shops and restaurants. Bath was small is the only negative point.
Nearby to all the best places. The staff were so lovely and my room was very cosy, you could control the heating too! Lovely time drowning in pillows watching tv, and slept like a baby. I'm nitpicky about grout and caulk but it was immaculate here.
While the service was very helpful and the staff couldnt have done more, the room was a bit on the shabby side with scuffs, marks, odd stains on the floor and other issues.nnThe room feels bare and awkward with a giant space by the window with nothing in it. There are no bedside plug sockets which isn't helpful at all. Bathroom isn't bad but the bath has seen better days. Having the toilet so close to the sink means you're constantly pressed up against it when sat down.nnOverall the rooms need a desperate refurbish as everything feels empty and dark even with lights on.
Wanted a walk in shower instead got a wet room for disabled which was in a disgusting state. Room was tired and needed renovating. Book a double bed but hot two singles pushed together. A letter to the chairman of the company and two emails have been totally ignored. On a positive, the staff were friendly and helpful. Pity the people who run the hostel cannot even have the courtesy of a reply when you do not get what you paid for.
