The room was very clean and comfortable, basic amenities, bed very comfy. The house keeping was very good. The location for MRI hospital could not have been better. 10 minutes walk away. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.
Its a travelodge, cheep and cheerful, the staff are wonderful - really friendly, helpful and super efficient. Its clean. The biggest thing I noticed is they are making more of an effort to offer gf food which is really appreciated. Thank you.nnIt was ideal location wise for the university, but a bit far out for concerts, however, it is all walkable around 2 miles and Manchester had an excellent public transport network so most are catered for. Taxi's and ubers are readily available too
The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was very uncomfortable which didn’t help my bad back. Breakfast was acceptable for me but not so for my wife who is coeliac as they had no gluten free bread. They did have GF cereal. The location is great with parking available door £7 per night. I have a Blue Badge and disabled parking is close to reception. All in all a budget hotel which will suit most people.
Great location, clean and tidy rooms but could do with more tea and coffee in the rooms. Only 2 tea-bags offered. Reception were great and were happy to supply more . Other than that petty niggle, it's was fab. Would happily book again.
Booked to stay for 2 nights due to a relative going into Manchester Royal Hospital. Room was clean tidy and functional. Basic but did what we needed it to.nNeither my wife and I drink brews so brought a cool box with juice drinks. Asked at the reception / bar if I could possibly get some ice to keep them cool. Without hesitation a full ice bucket was provided. Throughout our trip it was topped up and staff were always happy to see us and helpnDue to complications we ended up staying another night and as we had gotten to know the staff they showed genuine empathy and concern for us.nThe hotel is a stones throw away from the hospital and bus stops in both directions in and out of Manchester are close too. An ideal place to stop with plenty of parking too.nA genuine thank you to all the staff from both of us. You cared and that was clear to see. In a nice way hopefully we wont need to come back but should we decide to come back for a recreational visit we will be stopping here again.
