Thanks for an enjoyable stay. Staff all very friendly and breakfast very good. Really appreciate the alpro products and eggs free range which should be a given in this day and age but sadly not.nnRoom temperature controls very easy to control. Total silence in hotel.
Part of a UK Domestic tour we had the delight of staying at this hotel. Having been to many travelodge hotels around the country this one really could not be faulted!nnOn arrival we were greeted and checked in smoothly by Jacob, lovely lad and even helped with a parking issue we had. Thankyou SirnnRoom was lovely, clean and the right temperature. And most importantly and where we often struggle.. the showers pressure actually was good!nnIn the morning is where we again as a large group usually struggle. I insisted on getting to know the lovely womans name for the review as she did not miss a beat in keeping every single item on the breakfast topped up. That woman was in and out of the kitchen’s feeding 50 of us all by herself!! Her name is Jess. Thankyou Jess. You are a true credit to the organisation and I hope the regional managers take good care of you :nnThe only minor issue we encountered was that at time of booking we were told and promised that the coach could definitely park onsite, on arrival we had no other option but to risk parking in the outdoor loading bay as the hotel itself could not actually accommodate a large vehicle in their car park so just a communication issue between the hotel and its reservations teams.nnOverall this weekends stay was a great 8/10! 10/10nStaff were lovely and attentive,nRooms were spacious and clean,nGreat location, in walking distance to town, restaurants & shops, good base to visit windmere and local attractions, the underground parking is really convenient.nThe breakfast was brilliant.nWould absolutely stay here again
We stayed here for one night on Saturday. The travelodge is in a good location and close to the town centre. The room was spacious and clean and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The car park was £4 for 24 hours. We didn’t have breakfast.
Excellent Travelodge. Very clean and tidy. Seemed quite new so everything in very good condition. Staff very helpful, as always. Excellent position for access to the Lakes. 10-15 minute walk into town centre with lots of good places to eat and drink. On site parking, not included, very useful.
