Rooms are extremely basic, beware that the pricing is dependant on what's on in the area. Ended up paying nearly 4 times the usual rate due to a gig being on locally. Rooms were supposedly refurbished and far superior to before. A lick of paint and a new carpet? Is that what makes them superior?..tiny tv and coffee/ tea making facilities that were a tiny kettle and dark instant granules that tasted of nothing. Also beware it is extremely noisy, scraping metal noises of skips or bins into early hours and then starts again at 7 am. Only plus is its location, plenty of places to eat drink nearby.
Great find right next to the beach, lovely friendly welcome from Diane. Very dog friendly. Our only issue was being above bars and restaurant etc it was quite noisy. Salt corrosion on the windows meat they couldn't shut properly, whilst the rooms have been renovated well, these were missed. All told a good location and we hope to return.
Lovely lovely staff. We both had a lovely stay. We arrived and asked if we could have a room with a view of the sea and were swapped without any drama or extra cost. A short walk to the station and a 20 min train to the centre of the city. We would definitely returnRooms: 4/5
Stayed here last night on a visit to New Brighton for the first time. We were welcomed by a friendly lady at the desk who checked us in. Room was lovely just what we needed and dog friendly. Unfortunately our dog had a little accident in the lift and the lady behind the desk was happy to clean it up which was lovely will definitely be visiting again Location perfect right next to the beach and near restaurants and bars.
It’s does exactly what it advertises. Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds and crisp clean linens. No AC, no frills but perfect for getting your head down. We were on the side of the restaurants and thought it would be noisy, but not at all. Staff are friendly. I would go back again.Rooms: 5/5
Staff we're brilliant, especially Denise and the lady who's name we didn't get, she was on reception late evening. Cleanliness of room not up to standard especially the bathroom, would stay again.Rooms: 3/5
Want to say an extra thank you to Denise and Diane for going the extra mile with my family when we were in need. They went above and beyond to make sure we were catered for at a last minute change to our circumstances. Clean, bright room with all you need for a comfy stay.Rooms: 5/5
Worst Travelodge I've been in. Paid top rate for a premium room, room was boiling hot with no a/c and opposite incredibly noisy fans on the shopping centre roof which made it too noisy to sleep even with the window shut. Staff moved me to a standard room on the next floor down, still boiling hot but a bit quieter. Shower stops working every two minutes then comes back on scalding. Soap dispenser doesn't work at all. Absolutely awful
A lovely Clean lodge and lovey staff, Nikki was my first meeting and helped me with my booking, and all the other girls Diane, Emma were brilliant so accomodating, friendly, i have made more bookings, the best get away i have had for a long time, Thank You Ladies..... Rooms: lovely clean rooms sea view, Safety: I found it fine, Walkability: new brighton prome, sea front, Food & drinks: there are plenty of places for food the sea horse next door and other cafes, supermarket around the corner ....
We have booked 2 nights, room are good and clean, but breakfast box is like air plain food, who is prefer proper English breakfast there is lot of restaurants around for a few pounds more and you can get a good food. Don't buy this.Rooms: 4/5
