Location is excellent, right in the middle of broad street. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and eager to help. Rooms were fine, but the lamps in one of the rooms didn't work and the bathroom decor was peeling off. Also the lift was so noisy, bit daunting. The location and staff save it, but definitely need some work on the fixtures and fittings.

Good value option in central Birmingham within easy walking distance to the train station and centre of town. Only looses stars due to the noise from outside the hotel (heavy traffic and pedestrian noise) and for the fire alarms going off at 1am in the morning due to a guest tripping the alarm by having a shower with the door open. I'd blame this on the guest but there are no signs or warnings anywhere in the bathrooms alerting occupants to the risk of settling off the alarm.

Great location, perfect for my visit to the arena. The room was a decent size with a comfy bed and standard amenities. The only downside was that it was noisy in the morning due to road traffic, but that's to be expected in a busy area

Good central location in Broad Street, with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The only downside to this hotel it needs a refit. It certainly looks a little tired and needs money being spent. Don't forget you are staying on Broad Street in central Birmingham so some road noise is inevitable.

It a Travelodge, it is the usual good clean, no frills place to put your head down. Beds are great. Being picky, if you don't know Birmingham, this is the one of the main pub, club, restaurant areas, so it is busy and noisy (although I did not hear too much) so if you want a really really quiet hotel then go else where, but to say again, I did not hear much... Would use it again
