We stopped by while on a short visit from Ireland. Great food. You must try the Potato Scone Nachos. Very friendly staff. highly recommended. Will definitely call again.
My husband and me had the most amazing meal on Monday 26/ 03 /18 starter and mains superb ..such amazing food deserves better than a LAMINATED menu!! Need a more professional menu to do the amazing food and surroundings justice . Saying that we will definitely be back

Great wee place! Last night was great. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, always helpful, friendly and just lovely! Helped make the charity do a night to enjoy! Thanks! If you have a function looking for a friendly clean accessible space, I'd definitely recommend you use the travellers!

Went for a meals ordered beef chilli with rice £6.99 was the cost. The meal was a child portion , we complained and they didn’t care. The Manager was unhelpful. Shocking for a adult food ,
There has been an inn on this site for hundreds of years and 'The Rest' maintains its friendly country pub atmosphere. Taylor Wimpey is building a massive housing scheme across the road, so visit while it's still quiet!
Reasonably priced, well looked after by staff, I had decent sized portions but others in my party did not hence the two stars removed.
