Had a lovely afternoon wandering around and taking in all of the well looked after exhibits Friendly local volunteers on hand with lots of knowledge too. The Cafe however, is presently not operating but you can get something to eat and drink in the Town just a few minutes walk away. We frequented the Leyland Market Cafe, a surprisingly upmarket eatery with a very good menu

Great little museum with very friendly folks to talk to about the exhibits. Also we had contacted in advance to ask for advice about parking our 7.5m motorhome and they very kindly coned off an area of their car park just for us.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait

On this visit it was closed. I have been several times to this very compact and interesting museum. I have a haulage background and find this museum one of the finest in the UK. Leyland is famous for its commercial vehicles and bus manufacturing in the past. I would highly recommend a visit. Its only 5 minutes of the motorway m6 and as you come of the motorway on your left is a old Leyland fire engine in a glass box.
Really good day out, nice interesting place with some superb exhibits that are interactive. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The lad thought it was great.
Kids love it. Especially being able to sit in some of the exhibits. Attended a fun day making an egg mobile using crene eggs this time
Absolutely loved it, spent about 90 mins here, I could have stayed longer but with a 7 year old who had been promised a mcds, it was a big ask.. I love how well maintained they are, slightly gutting that you can't sit in many of them, but totally understandable why not.. still there's a few you can. Will come again. Ps, ring the fire engine bell..
Took dad for his 80th birthday 4 yes late & he loved it. Took him back to his driving days when he'd driven quite a few of the vehicles on show. The staff are do friendly & engaging listened to his stories. Brought back memories of when he took me with him Had coffee and cake in the lovely cafe..delicious & very well priced as is the museum
