Food is great, good place to go to if you’re in the area. Stewards are welcoming as well. Quality of some of the seats though are abysmal, almost fell off one earlier in the season because the seat wasn’t stabalized correctly. Heard about problems in the away end’s seats too.
Access to the stadium was quite straightforward, with plenty of parking and free parking close to the ground. The stadium on approach looked quite ragged from the Mendip Road side, but enjoyed looking at the huge badges on the side of the stands. When inside the ground, it was great to see the large stand at the goal end almost empty with Tranmere Rovers in big letters imprinted into the seat, it really looks completely different inside. The facilities were bog standard, and the stewards were helpful. There’s a raffle that they draw at half time too. The food and drink options weren’t great. There was not much to choose from, although the prices were really good for a sports ground. The police atmosphere was significantly increased, as Northampton Town were on the brink of promotion should they have sealed the win against Tranmere. So a bit of rowdiness was anticipated. The atmosphere from the home side was a bit flat first half, but it picked up a little in the second half which left an overall brilliant atmosphere in the stadium.
Decent ground to be fair, food and drinks available are reasonably priced, just a shame about the result.
Watched the Hong Kongers final which went to penalties, great match, great stadium.
Went to watch Liverpool Women here with my daughter. What a lovely ground, great atmosphere. The facilities were OK but the staff is what made it, all of them were very helpful and friendly.
Good stadium, decent size. Friendly stewards, possibly tricky to find your stand if you’re there for the first time. Cheap tickets for WLFC team, good prices for beers and food.
Great football club, bounces when there's a good crowd, fabulous atmosphere when the SWA are in full flow. A good old ground. Real exciting football played here at times.
A great local town football club that has a more traditional football experience than visiting a premier league ground. Players are more accessible for autographs etc snd you can get to see them post game in the lounges, should you get the chance to get s ticket for that area. The Kop has a pretty good atmosphere snd views are good from most areas in the stands.
The second time I have been here and it has been brilliant. The stewards have all been helpful and interacted with my daughter and her friend.
Fantastic set up great hospitality, pitch in great shape , atmosphere very good , all round fab couple of hours reffing
