My kids are mad into gaming and being a bit left behind with it all the guy on the counter was so helpful. Explaining how to set up profiles and parental controls etc, his knowledge was very good and he was we walked away happy with a PS5 bundle in tow. As for the rest of the shop, something for everyone and most adults to.
This toy store is located in Portsmouth, some toys completely over priced, however some toys are very low quality the store is well stocked,. Clean and tidy, but sometimes only one customer service at the checkout. This place needs to improve its customer service. I recommend the store.
I went to Smyth's toys yesterday and got a cycle for my 5yr old daughter, The sales person name wisdom helped my little one to choose a proper bike and helped her to ride with confidence and she was so happy after that. Thank you Wisdom.
Went into the Portsmouth store today looking for a pram and we were served by a lovely lady Lou. She was very helpful, informative and couldn’t have faulted her customer service. Thank you so much!
If you're between the ages of 12 and 30 and you're a male they'll assume you're stealing everytime I go in there and old grey haired lady closes the till to stand on the door and watch me like a hawk then the minute I've paid she opens the tills back up won't be shopping at Smyth's again
Wisdom helped me get a bike for my son today, he was so helpful and practically taught my son how to ride going up and down the aisle! He was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for my son to be safe. All the colleagues we interacted with in the shop were friendly and welcoming. A great experience and a very happy little boy! Would highly recommend.
Had to do a return today on a duplicated item for my son’s 10th birthday and Mel who assisted us went above and beyond. Despite being unwell herself she was so friendly and delivered amazing customer service
We made two visits to this store, on first occasion to check out the strollers for grandson, we were served by eloise who demonstrated a number of strollers, excellent customer service from her. Went back again to buy stroller and again could not fault service we received from eloise and Angela thank you lady's. Also the Check out assistant was very polite on leaving the store what a great shopping experience big thanks from tom&sharon.
Thankyou to all the staff at Smyths Portsmouth. Assistance ,direction and support was on hand from the well trained staff at my every request. Even a shopping trolley turned up when my purchases grew over the top of the shopping basket. I left the shop happy with my experience and contect with my purchases. .
Wow!!! what a great service! I normally avoid shopping at all cost but what a pleasure it was to visit Smyths Toy Superstore at Ocean Retail Park, Portsmouth. The floor assistant showed me directly to the toy required and I then checked out at Christine's till.... She was delightfully efficient & helpful and a smile to bring joy to any tired shopper! Thank you again for a really first class service!
