Dropped in here on way home from Dumfries couple of weeks ago. . Best fish and chips I’ve had in years. Beautiful crisp batter on lovely fresh sweet tasting haddock, and the tastiest chips without a hint of grease. Top notch!
Great fish and chips. Second visit. Good old fashioned restaurant upstairs. The way chippies used to be. Clean tidy and well spaced out for social distancing.

Fabulous as always. Clean establishment, freshly cooked very fresh fish and crispy chips, good portions too. Our go to stop before heading for home. Never disappoints.
We just had a pizza and a haggis supper, both were excellent, great value for money too!
Phoned for a steak pie supper,asked for a fresh steak pie but the one I got had been sitting for quite some time. The base of the pie was rock hard. On a plus point the chips were good.
The food is really good but not cheap. The place is really clean most enjoyable
