A nice rural station whose leafy surrounds make a very pleasant place to wait for a train in summer, though in cold or rain the lack of a shelter of any kind on the northbound platform is a distinct negative. Small car park adjacent to station and very unusually, part of the original building serves as the local police station!!

I love the view of street level and platform level at the Liverpool Central platform of this station! Beautiful
