I've been using this practice for nearly 40 years. I think we are fortunate to have it here in Nailsea. So, one star reviews are a big surprise to me and people can be very demanding and tense when they are unwell.nnA really good receptionist is absolutely essential and there have been some grumpy ones in the past but we simply don't know what sort of abuse they get. Treat a person as you would like to be treated yourself and you'll be well looked after.nnI give 5 stars not because the practice is perfect all the time but because it is very good most of the time and we get our healthcare for free. Most people in the practice are working their socks off to give a good service.nnThank you!nnTimnLater 11 December 2023nnI had reason to go to reception again today where I received excellent service from a delightful member of staff. It makes such a difference to be so well received . Well done!!!nnApril and May 2024nnAs ever I always get excellent service from this practice...doctors, nurses, receptionists and whoever answers the phone. I really struggle to understand why there are quite a few negative reviews. I guess illness and fear of illness can make people experience a range of negative emotions. We are so fortunate to have a health service that is free of charge and which has many dedicated people doing their best to deal with a tidal wave of ill health. Of course things sometimes go wrong as in any walk of life. Let's make it as easy as possible for our GP practice to look after us.
Only been registered for a few months but have had excellent service. The receptionist was so very helpful when my family went to register. Recently I had to contact the surgery over a health issue, and Dr Scott was wonderful. So kind, helpful and reassuring, even though we had never met her. Feel confident in our choice of surgery
Very friendly, efficient and caring that’s how I would describe Dr Grice. Rarely have I met a doctor that has time and is so interested in the patient. I felt comfy and listened to.
I have just been to this health centre with my 79 year old Mum who has dementia and rheumatoid arthritis. Prior to our visit I arranged with the Podiatry clinic that Mum does not need to wear a mask because of her dementia and breathing and I wear a visor so I can communicate with Mum. I am also exempt from wearing face covers. I have email confirmation from Podiatry that this agreement is fine.nThe very hostile and unkind receptionist said Mum and I must wear a mask to wait in reception. I explained about our email exchange with Podiatry. She persisted with her approach and insisted Mum wait outside in the wind and rain. Mum was there because she has a very painful arthritic toe. This loss of humanity has increased these last 18 months I have noticed a =n increase in this type of behaviour. Callous and uncaring behaviour by jobs worth and people unable to think for themselves. We need more compassion.
Excellent practice with friendly helpful staff. On Friday I had something 'going on', called the practice first thing and was seen by a GP at 0920 the same day. Fantastic service, thanks.
