Been going here for over 4 years now and always highly impressed with the level of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm these guys have for Porsche. I’ve now started tracking my 997 so I’m regularly down there making tweaks or upgrades. Genuinely nice guys that love cars and won’t rip you off unlike many OPCs who will try and tell you you need a ton of work doing when you really don’t, and then do a bodge job of it anyway! Wouldn’t go anywhere else, if you have a Porsche and you live in London go see John and he’ll sort you out.

I've been taking my Mk2 997 here for a number of years and I keep going back because I trust them. If you're looking for an inner London Porsche expert, without the main dealer prices, then I would thoroughly recommend Tower Porsche. John and Harry are very knowledgeable and the quality of their work is very good.

Only gave one star because it's not possible to give zero. Left a 928 S4 in several years ago with an engine fault - it had gone into 'limp home' mode, losing power from one bank of cylinders. Cue weeks of nonsense diagnosis resulting in a rising labour bill but zero resolution to the problem. Finally John tried to tell me that the car's gearbox was the source of the issue, but I was in luck because he had a replacement one he could sell me for £2k. Even I - a non marque expert - knew that the gearbox was A1 and that the problem wasn't related to that. I declined his 'kind' offer but still had to pay several hundred pounds for the labour it took for him to misdiagnose the issue before I could retrieve the car. And to add insult to injury, they'd removed a fair chunk of the internal trim panels and rear carpets, but not reinstated them, so the nearly mint car I'd delivered to them now resembled a complete project. I knew I was being ripped off, but to be frank I was desperate to get the car back from their clutches and store it somewhere safe. Now I'm older and wiser, not to mention a magistrate, I wish I'd fought them on principle, but one lives and learns. Postscript - in the end the issue turned out to be a Lambda sensor, correctly diagnosed by a decent mechanic, so tell me - what would the result have been had I naively agreed to fork out 2 grand plus lots of pricey labour for a new gearbox I didn't need?! Yup, that's right - thousands rather than hundreds of pound down the drain and an engine that still wouldn't have run correctly. Use with extreme caution folks.
